A Poem

I wish it didn’t hurt so much to have that itch remain unscratched /grooves along the surface of the mirror are only showing up now Any attempts to manipulate the pose have been embraced by stone & the story changes each time I’m staked out alone emptying the pedestal Choking on a system that never let me near you Never twisted this arm into the kind of path I had been looking out for But resilience has gone on vacation & the time has come for this reaction to die out
