Rawiri Waititi’s Ejection from Parliament is Yet Another Example of White Supremacy.
For those of us locked in the struggle to smash white supremacy to smithereens, yesterday’s images show how far, we have got to go….

The Image of the Speaker of the New Zealand parliament, Trevor Mallard went viral all across the world yesterday, for ejecting the Maori MP, Rawiri Waititi for wearing a traditional Maori pendant and not a necktie.
For Rawiri Waititi, the necktie reeks of colonialism and this is something those in South Africa, who protested not being allowed to wear their natural hair at their boarding school and those in Oxford (Rhodes must fall), seeing slavers and racists venerated, will have readily recognized and hated.
At the heart of the greatest problems in the world is, you’ve guessed it, is-white supremacy- the subjugation of other cultures, the elevation of all things Anglo Saxon and the brutalization and violence of native populations; from India to South Africa or from Haiti to the United States.
Although this story has a happy ending, there can be no question that we have a long way to go in winning the war.
Thanks very much for reading.
