Starting the fun With number one Where else would you start? The likely remark

Born in an anagram of my name May-be why I love a puzzle to tame Adventures call me away from a book The world beckoning me to take a look

On the road, in the sky or sea Alongside bull sharks, birds and anemone With jumping crocs and wild pigs that charge Snakes that sliver prompting eyes to enlarge

Views of magic that took away my breath As I danced close to the edges of death

One tandem jump was all it took Leg almost caught in a rope for this rook Snorkelling in a cenote when it went dark Flat batteries and a foggy mask Made finding breath an urgent task

Being Mum singed the search for risky highs Distracted by little humans’ cries Directed to a new way of seeing A world via the eyes of children being

I’ve lost count! I’m coming up empty Absurd since I worked as an accountant from twenty Financial forecast management related A place where magical software was created

Lessened my encounters with tax avoidance schemes Big bucks used to buy deception makes my soul scream Rantings fuelled with righteous passion Time and mind turning to compassion

My feet found infinite new shoes Guiding me to see different views Golden insights tinged with pain Opened doors to treasured gain

Childhood logic blurred my sight Four of us kids made love tight Parents doing the best they could During times I simply misunderstood

Re-finding my head-banging groove Mixing it up with fresh moves Tinkering on the keys and skins again Playing with pots, paints, pencils or a pen

Numbers went numb A sign of the fun Creating of any kind Sweet magic to my mind

Collage in an attempt to depict the poem

Thanks go to those caught in the net of a butterfly effect

And also thanks to Jenine Bsharah Baines for opening doors to other worlds. I know it’s a faint line of connection… but one I am highlighting all the same!

Feel free to open the door with your key on either and/or both prompts of play.
