Summary

The content reflects on the emotional turmoil and detachment experienced by a child who grows up without parental love and struggles to understand and express love.

Abstract

The text titled "In Absence of Love" with the subheading "Rancor" is dedicated to individuals who have never received love as children. It paints a poignant picture of a child who, lacking paternal support, lives a life of emotional isolation. The child yearns for affection and attention but is consistently deprived of it, causing love to become an alien concept to him. This unfulfilled longing leads to agitation and a sense of alienation from others. The inner child within this person never learns to love or be loved, leading to a futile search for connection and a tendency to push others away. The text conveys the deep-seated bitterness and emptiness that comes from never having learned to engage with love, ultimately resulting in a life devoid of meaningful relationships.

Opinions

  • The author conveys a deep empathy for those who have grown up without love, highlighting the profound impact it has on their ability to form connections.
  • There is a sense of frustration and sorrow at the child's inability to receive or give love, which is seen as a fundamental human need.
  • The text suggests that the lack of love in childhood can lead to a cycle of emotional disconnection and destructive behavior in adulthood.
  • The author seems to argue that the emotional void left by an absence of love can never be truly filled, leading to a life characterized by a sense of loss and incompleteness.

A child who knows no support from his father does live a detached life

He yearns for something, affection and attention but never gets it from someone

Love becomes a distant concept in his life, when it comes to receiving it

He becomes agitated, by the notions of love, aggravated, gravitated away from everyone

Inside his heart lies a child who never learned to love and be loved

He seeks connection, where ever he can find it from, rotting away knowing none

He breaks at everything he comes in contact with, and has no reason to know no one

He fails at supporting life, lost him shall for he never was able to love anyone

And there it lies the empty feeling, for you who can’t associate with love a bitterness perhaps it seems that you’ve never known to learn what’s love
