I don’t know about you, but I have had more moments than I can stand where I looked at the faces of my children and wished I could erase a situation from their memory. In the last 2 years, most of our young children have had to endure some things that even adults complained about.

Just Here To Bicker

Yes, if you haven’t already realized it; I am mostly here to complain. If you don't like that I highly recommend reading another article, but if you are mildly entertained or you also enduring the shit storm while holding precious little hands; hold on to your seats… it may be a bumpy ride.

What An Impressive Storm It Is!

I feel like this is overkill. No joke here. Kind of like the movie Sharknado… why? We had sharks, he had tornados; we didn't need to combine them. Definitely overkill.

Even movies can’t keep up at this point. We have had asteroids, a pandemic, murder hornets, flooding, pandemic part-2 (fancy names for the pandemic), vaccines, riots, arrest, BETTY WHITE IS DEAD, pandemic part -3, war, nuclear plants being shot at, crazy dictators, and it hasn’t even been a full 2 years.

It’s getting worse!

How? you ask. I have no idea… I assume, at this point, the archaeologist is just digging up Indian burial grounds to see what will happen next! Next has to be a robot invasion and take over… I can’t be 100% sure, but going through the list of what's next in line for the end of the world, that is what I have my money on anyway.

I would say the locust or a great flood but I think at this point the Bible and the big man upstairs has just thrown his hands in the air and figure we are doing enough job on our own. (ITS A JOKE! I AM NOT EVEN A CHRISTIAN. Don’t get offended.) At this point, I totally wouldn't mind the locust and a guy who turns water into wine though… just FYI.

What Do We Do?

My handbook is missing the part where everything goes to shit. Are we just supposed to keep on the previous curriculum? Should I be building a bomb shelter?

ARE WE STILL DOING COVID?

Pappa DeWine and Doctor Fouche are still doing COVID. I am not sure if we are all supposed to be doing it still or if they just didn’t get the memo. Are we supposed to stand 6 feet away from each other while getting scanned for radiation?

OH AND

It's getting warmer outside… do I need spray for the murder hornets? Is West Nile still a thing?

REALLY THOUGH!

If you are out there raising babies and doing your best, you got this! Trust yourself and try not to let it get over overwhelming. It is a lot to deal with and you are not alone.

Keep pushing, keep moving forward, and if you need a rest take it.
