Rain-Kissed Reflections
The serendipity of simple acts
Caught in the rain with the city lights aglow, My gaze wanders to the billboards' radiant show. A distant thought, simmering for a while, But life’s chaos ensues, I journey mile by mile.
I see the people and strays in constant motion, A captivating diversion from life’s endless ocean. I think I’ve unraveled why I’m on this ride, Perhaps to learn new perspectives, cast old ones aside.
Things that once appeared vague and slight, Now shine with the brilliance of life's inner light. A small act of charity, they gently say, Can fill my heart with contentment each passing day.
I've unearthed the essence of humanity's grace, No turning back to the old, life's dull embrace. The line between good and evil, a blurred display, But on this rainy day, I won't let dark thoughts sway.
When it's time for dinner, I appreciate, Blessings from the Lord, a humble plate. Life's problems, once my ungrateful strife, I'll cease to complain and treasure the slice of life.
