I hate the rain

The water that falls from the sky Replicates the tears that fall from my eyes As if it were trying to mock me For mourning the sound of my heart breaking Pouring over the kisses of our footprints We’ve embedded along the surface of our world Washing away the memories Until there’s nothing left behind
