The author has been engaging with other Medium authors, sharing reactions to their work, and is inviting readers to engage with their mission on nuclear energy and climate change.

Abstract

The author of the article has spent the past week interacting with fellow Medium authors, responding to their stories on various topics, including men and suicide, originality in writing, and race. Despite some of these reactions receiving less attention than hoped, the author values the feedback loop and has adapted their approach to better align with Medium's algorithm. The author has also found a personal mission related to nuclear energy and its role in combating climate change, which they are eager to share with readers, asking for just 10 minutes of their time to consider the argument. Additionally, the author extends an offer to react to other writers' stories who comment on the post.

If this story can have a theme song, here it is.

I’ve spent the last week engaging with my fellow medium authors on subjects that you care about in the hopes that you might be willing to hear more about what I care about.

This story is the compilation of those efforts. I hope others have found my feedback valuable and I welcome yours in return.

Most of the stories I’ve written this week have gotten less traction than previous attempts, but I think that’s because I’ve copied the opening paragraphs from one story over to the next in order to explain what I’m doing. But Medium’s algorithm seems to dislike that. I’ll approach the introduction a bit differently in the future to experiment with how that works.

Here is the recap of the engagement I’ve published this week.

To Shirley J. Davis

To Thomas Christopher

To Assad Abderemane:

There are several more authors that I’m extremely excited about connecting with but haven’t finished writing my reactions to. Next week’s set is going to be fantastic though, so stay tuned.

What I’m Here to Talk About

In the meantime, I’ve found my purpose — my mission — and I desperately need to share it. I need you to know what I know. I ask that you please just give me 10 minutes of your time. I promise you won’t regret it.

If you’d like me to react to one of your stories, post it in the comments and I’ll take a look!
