Auto tune to the tune in to the times to the tumult to the tempest, this tantalizing tick tock tap your toe spin the dial, mix the static pick and scan til it’s spick and span grind, to the teeth windows down, road groove to the call sign, abc’s & 123's talk talk news and gospel blues rock and roll the tires rotate rhythm rap bump bump the back seat shotgun rider DJ rules steel guitar twang for country dirt take it easy, rider shortwave transmissions, time tingles simulcast up on the dash hula girl twist twist, winks at Jesus riddle rattle, FM receivers do the wave on the waves CB through the air, AM tune in, tune out turn it on, turn it up

Every year I see my artist friends on Instagram participating in #inktober. I am useless when it comes to drawing, but I wanted to join in the fun because I can’t resist a project; I’m writing poems for the prompts instead and making primitive ink versions on paper so I can share them as part of the whole thing.
