Fail. Try again. Fail better. Try till you bleed to death.

Have you ever wondered why Lion is the king of the jungle?

Is he the strongest? The fastest or the most intelligent animal in the jungle?

It’s none of the above.

Imagine a lion coming face to face with an elephant. Where the elephant fears that he will be eaten, Lion sees lunch. It’s not about the strength, the speed, or the size that matters; what makes a lion more lethal than others is his midset.

In his mind, the lion is the king of the jungle. This is why everyone else considers him one.

A similar approach works with humans.

Muhammad Ali was considered the greatest of all because before every match, in his mind, he affirmed, “I am the greatest!” and not just once, he affirmed it 1,000 times.

In life, you’ll face problems. There will be moments when you feel like nothing is working in your favor. And in those times, it’s necessary to consider a few things.

I have failed a lot. My first business was a disaster. My second was nearly a bankruptcy. Over the years, I have failed as a computer engineer, a manager, an entrepreneur, and a writer.

But down the line, I figured out that my work in this world is as a writer. I was born to inspire people around me.

I realized this once I started getting feedback from unknown people on how my writing inspired them to get better in their life.

And trust me, regardless of where you are in life, understand that your life is a script, and it’s written by the best of writers — GOD. So, whatever is happening in your life, it shall pass.

Treat life as a gift. If you think otherwise, read this

Every day is a chance, an opportunity to do great things.

Each morning you’re given 1440 minutes to do your best.

Indeed, things might mess up, people will get upset, and you will fail daily.

But until you’re alive, there is no reason to sit back and cry.

Failure is inevitable. You cannot prevent it, but you can surely stay strong and face the storm.

For a month, I worked as a database engineer. I hated my job. So my manager asked me to try marketing; I did and loved it. And when I started working as a content writer, that was my second best choice.

Indeed, I had to work hard to be where I am today, but in between, I failed a lot. Improved. And tried again.

Consistency is the key

Find something you like, and give your full energy to it.

To master a skill, you need consistency. And not just any consistency; you require deliberate practice.

For instance, if you are a writer, wish to become the best in your field—write every day. And analyze your performance. Don’t just jot down words and move on to the next project. Analyze the elements of your blog. Compare them to your previous work. See what worked and what didn’t.

Being conscious and consistent with your work will help you fail better in life.

Treat every failure as a learning opportunity

Each day you either succeed or you learn what not to do.

Understand that your life is written in advance by GOD. Whatever happens, you cannot control it. But you have the power to take charge of the situation.

You can either curse the world—the people or technology. Or you can get back up and take control of the situation.

Change the way you see failure and your life will improve immensely.

Stop crying, weeping, cursing, and start appreciating every setback. Laugh, learn, and move on with the new you.

Your greatest competition

People consider other people as their completion.

That’s so wrong.

You are not competing with the world. You are your most fantastic competition.

Each day, analyze how you’ve become a better version of yourself.

If you are the same person as yesterday, it’s not a good sign. Either fail at something or succeed. But don’t let the previous hours of the day upset you over trivial things.

Life is a gift. Don’t die without sending your best work out there.

If you’re working at a job you hate, quit and find another one.

If you’ve started something that uninspires you each day, quit and start again.

The only limit that you have is the limit of your mind.

Change your mind, and your life will change.

Instead of treating failure as a setback, consider it a learning opportunity.

Figure out a way to do things differently. Don’t worry about what others will think. If you’re satisfied with the way things are, go for it. And if you’re not failing often, you’re not trying hard. Because failure gives you growth, it moves you away from your comfort zone, and when you try new things. You become a better version of your previous self.
