Recently, I received various emails from my fans that they were thinking to quit writing and blogging. As, writing and blogging took 3 hours of their life daily, and they can spend that time in doing some other side hustles like making YouTube Videos or Starting drop-shipping service on Ebay.

I started writing as my hobby and currently, I am excited to keep writing on medium rather than thinking of some other platforms. I knew many people won’t make tons of money writing on medium as only few percentages of writers make above $100.

In fact, $100 is not a huge amount to expect from medium. It has more capacity and some top writers actually made $35,000 on medium. Comparing with them $100 seems so less, and it actually will help me to buy me fancy food thrice in good Hotel.

So, if money isn’t pulling writers away from writing then which factor is making writer quit from medium platform. The only simple reason to this question is that they have other full-time job, or they are students who have their college burden on their small brains.

I can completely relate with people who end giving up on writing due to other activities to handle. Like seriously, I promised my followers to post 2 articles per day at the beginning of my medium journey on 17th June 2020 and currently after trying so hard I am ending up with actually posting just 2 articles per 3 days.

I completely understand that people need time for other activities, but giving up is not an option for new writer like you. I still remember that when thoughts like Medium is useless pops in my head, I gently open my email id and there I can read various emails from my fans asking good questions to me, praising me for my articles and It motivates me to write more for them.

I can’t quit writing on Medium as I know my article don’t get 100k views but surely get around 100 views and there are people out there who love my articles and eagerly wait for the next ones to pop on my profile. I just can’t stop myself from writing due to you guys.

I don’t need any money from my fans, I also usually provide friend links to more than 25 people daily as they don’t have a Medium membership, but they email me to read my articles, and they absolutely love it.

If you genuinely care for people who read your article and claps for it, you will never quit writing irrespective of only few views, few earnings and other job load. I can guarantee you that money can be earned at any stage of your life, but respect can be never earned easily.

At the End, if you love writing and the only huddle between you and writing is fewer views, fewer earnings or any other work to complete, just remember why you started writing and never let money decide your passion and hobby.
