PHOTO-A-DAY CHALLENGE

Quickly Changing Scenery

Third Week of November

A beautiful aspect of life is the scenery that the earth provides. ― Jessica Marie Baumgartner

Day 1

The cover photo reminds me how fast the sun rises and sets each day and how fast the scenery changes. Life is moving almost too fast for us to take it all in. If we even blink, we miss what that moment had in store for us.

Day 2

This reddish-orange beauty is somewhat sheltered and holding on to its brightly colored leaves for dear life.

Day 3

The fall skies can be brutal but always much appreciated for their life-giving rain. The leaves are quickly being blown away in the blustering winds.

Day 4

Looking up this fall has been extra special with the Looking Up prompt in Weeds and Wildflowers. I am glad I got in the habit of looking up, this vine was interesting to see.

Day 5

The rain has extended the beauty of this patch of sunflowers. They are still thriving. This one seemed to be reaching to shoo a fly.

Day 6

These birds seem to be ready for the season to change, just sitting and waiting for snow. I think I have almost the exact same picture from last winter, except the tree was buried under inches of snow.

Day 7

It seems the sky, the flowers, and the birds are all settled in, enjoying the last moments of fall in Pennsylvania. The scenery is set to change on schedule.

But, I opted to relocate for a more drastic change of scenery, in California. These birds (Birds of Paradise) give me a much warmer vibe!

Thanks for reading! I hope everyone takes in the scenery wherever they may find themselves. Give thanks for the scenery the earth provides and for the people we share it with.
