2. Choose a cheaper game to play. I normally play pennies and nickels when my cash is low. It seems my money last longer. When I have money to spare, I’ll do quarters and dollars when I hit big. I try to put winnings in my gamble box, which I’ll talk about in a minute.
3. I used to enjoy going to various buffets, but as I got older, I realized I was wasting a lot of money. Avoid the buffet if you’re not super hungry, and grab a cheap meal like a hot dog, sandwich, or pizza. If I have comps (money earned because I played a lot) built up, I will indulge the buffet if they are serving crab legs.
4. You can also eat before going to the casino. Eating before you go to the casino is another great way to save money unless you plan on eating at one of the fancy restaurants for a special occasion. Some casinos do offer deals on food, so make sure you check for those when planning your trip.
5. Use the free amenities, which there aren’t many. Usually, the casino will have free water, coffee, and soda. The free liquor depends on the casino. Here in Michigan where I live, alcoholic drinks are NOT free and they’re not cheap either; $6.00 for a bottle of beer. Yikes.

Best Ways To Conserve Cash at Casinos

Casinos are a great place to have fun, but you will spend and lose money there. However, casinos can also be a great place to save money — at least your winnings.

Budgeting for gambling is the best way to save money at casinos. Budgeting for gambling means you’ll know how much you’ll spend on food, drinks, playing, and other items at the casino. This way you won’t go over your budget and end up going home broke.

Consider playing games that have lower stakes. These games are usually more popular because they don’t cost as much money and people tend to win more often than when the stakes are higher.

Table card games like war and blackjack are inexpensive because you can bet smaller amounts (depending on the casino) and win and at least double your money,

There is a device called the Gamble Box. It’s a very popular device to have at casinos. You basically put your winnings into the device while at the casino. There is a key, but leave the key at home. Therefore, you can’t open it until you get home. It stops the urge from playing back all the money you may have won.

The cost of a casino trip can be expensive. However, these are just a few ways to save money on your next casino trip. Use the strategies I’ve mentioned so you won’t go home broke, but still enjoy yourself knowing it’s all in good fun.
