Sharing And Rules In Life

Let me start by saying this series of stories is geared towards children’s development and the questions that they ask of their parents and teachers. The stories will be told in a way that they can relate to the characters themselves.

One day two brothers asked their teacher the question why do some children follow the rules and others do not? The teacher thought for a moment before answering the question.

She said calling the boys by names Thomas and Wayne that is a very good question. Let me tell you a story about following the rules. A long time ago before you were born there were two brothers who grew up in a very loving family. Both of the brothers were given toys to play with and enjoy the time spent together.

The parents of the Marcus and Anthony who loved them very much one day noticed that Marcus refused to share some of the toys with Anthony. The parents decided it was time to teach the brothers about the rules when playing with the toys.

They sat Marcus and Anthony together and explained to them the rules of sharing the things they have. They said you are very fortunate to have much in life. There are some in life who do not have what you have.

We love you both very much and you are the joy of our life. We want the same for you both to have love for each other very much and become the joy of each others life as you grow older.

Beginning today you must obey the rules of sharing all you have with your brother. This rule can not be broken between you. The brothers agreed to follow the rules their parents told them that day.

The next day at school the brothers noticed another child in their class refusing to share toys with the other kids. When the two boys returned home they told their parents about the child who refused to share. The parents reminded Marcus and Anthony everyone is different. The parents of that child might not have a brother or sister like you do.

Maybe that is why he does not know how to share with others. The parents suggested to Marcus and Anthony tomorrow share your toys with him and become his friend.

Slowly the three boys began sharing the toys and playing together that day. Marcus and Anthony learned a valuable lesson that day. We are all different and sometimes we only need to give the other person a chance to make friends and learn from one another about things in life.

The act of kindness by Marcus and Anthony sharing their toys with the other boy enabled him to see the benefits sharing and making friends.

You see in life we are all different with many paths. Some paths teach valuable lessons life sharing and obey the rules.
