Quest Ad-Infinitum
Poetry In Response To Writing Prompts Love, Hope, Friendship And Life
Many seek it, hearts filled with greed despising themselves within never knowing the self that breathes a life so lonely, it seems — do they ever wonder the thirst for replenishment, their soul craving indeed
When they don’t receive the love, they gave for it they fell to despair, it reaps them of their ease and sleep they tumble into the darkness, that robs them of their worries they lose the hope that rests, deep within the pits and depths of nothing for they grow weak, wary of unrest — a life they chose, a choice no one accepts some may say, it’s sad of how they decay in their self misery and hatred
…
But then again, it is said that those who never let it steal their zest If it ever comes to them, they accept it — it sets as they rejoice hope in even the darkest of voids — some people know of its existence they hold it close, and let it mold themselves into a being that knows no limits then they walk out of the circa of life — for they found something beyond comprehension — a divine hope, their eternal salvation
