Summary

The content describes how Vladimir Putin has orchestrated a systematic attack on American democracy, using psychological manipulation and exploiting the Republican Party to install a compliant Trump presidency with the aim of undermining democratic institutions and processes, ultimately to advance Russia's global influence at the expense of U.S. leadership.

Abstract

The provided text outlines a strategic assault on American democracy, detailed in the so-called "Russian classified document" No 32–04, where Putin acknowledges his role in destabilizing U.S. democracy by helping elect Donald Trump. This document, known as 'Putin’s Secret Speech,' reveals Russia's intent to position itself favorably on the global stage by weakening America's political system. The strategy involves manipulating public perception and political norms, sowing distrust in democratic institutions, and exploiting the vulnerabilities within the Republican Party. Putin's speech underscores his disregard for the U.S. Constitution and his use of Trump's mental instability to further his goals. The text also highlights the role of cyberspace as a new battleground for ideological warfare, emphasizing that Putin's success is contingent on the erosion of democratic principles and the subversion of the American electoral process. The opinions of the author are evident, depicting a dire scenario where the fate of democracy hinges on the recognition and repair of the warning systems meant to safeguard it.

Opinions

  • The author views Putin's actions as an orchestrated effort to dismantle democracy by disabling the "warning systems" that protect it, such as democratic norms and institutions.
  • The Republican Party is portrayed as complicit, or at least vulnerable, to Putin's manipulations, which has led to the party's alignment with Putin's anti-democratic objectives.
  • The text suggests that Putin has a disdainful view of both American and Chinese leadership, seeing them as flawed and ripe for Russian exploitation.
  • The author conveys a sense of urgency about the threat to democracy, emphasizing the need to understand and counteract Putin's tactics to preserve democratic values and institutions.
  • Putin is depicted as an autocrat who sees democracy as cumbersome and inefficient, preferring a system where power is centralized and unchallenged.
  • The author criticizes Trump's alignment with Putin and his disregard for the Constitution, suggesting that Trump's actions serve Putin's agenda to weaken American democracy.
  • The text implies that Putin's strategy extends beyond the U.S., aiming to reassert Russian influence in Europe by exploiting historical and cultural vulnerabilities.
  • The author believes that knowledge and awareness are crucial in the fight to restore and protect democracy from Putin's calculated assaults.

Defeat Comes From Ignorance, Not Bliss

Howling wind and pouring rain rattle your windows in their frames. A chill runs through your body; something is desperately wrong. The storm intensifies, making the hair at the neck of your t-shirt prickle.

From a distance, it sounds like a train is heading straight toward your family and home. The community alarm hasn’t sounded. There have been no alerts on your phone.

The severe weather system has been disarmed; no one knows destruction is about to strike.

The community paid millions for a warning system that was deliberately disabled, leaving people with no choice but to rely on hope and prayer.

Knowledge is Power

Until 1950, weathermen were forbidden to warn or forecast a “tornado” without fearing losing their job and career. It was believed there was no sense in warning people against something they couldn’t protect themselves from, and the warning itself caused more “unnecessary fear than the actual tornado.”

With today’s weather technology, losing everything you hold dear to a tornado because someone maliciously disconnected the warning system would be an unimaginable tragedy.

Hiding information is a form of manipulation that is NEVER in your best interest.

Before we can repair the warning system, we need to know how it was disabled — to ensure it doesn’t happen again. The only way to restore democracy and freedom is to stop the assault at the source.

Putin Shut Down the Warning System, and Here’s the Details on How

Based on the Russian classified documentNo 32–04 / vd,” Vladimir Putin plotted to elect Donald Trump as the Kremlin’s “most promising candidateto help destroy Democracy. A brief psychological assessment of Trump describes him as an “impulsive, mentally unstable, and unbalanced individual who suffers from an inferiority complex.”

Russia’s assessment of Trump’s mental capacity was spot on!

On January 21, 2017, the Russian President addressed his committee of operatives in Moscow the morning after Donald Trump’s inauguration.

For the complete text of Putin’s Secret Speech without my comments, you can do so here — ‘Putin’s Secret Speech’ in full.

Introducion:

The day after the inauguration of Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin congratulates the Kremlin operatives engaged in undermining American democracy:

In the first sentence, he takes responsibility for disabling the warning system.

Putin:

Gentlemen, the event yesterday in Washington commands my thanks for the inspired work you have done on behalf of the Federation. Your countrymen owe you their gratitude. Furthermore, succeeding generations of our people will be made aware of your mission. Let me personally assure you of eventual wide acknowledgment. The komitet’s innovation, tireless labor and deep resolve will not for long be hidden from history. Your names will be inscribed as leading actors in the chronicles of this vital moment.

Putin promises that his committee will soon be known worldwide for their work installing Trump in the White House.

Putin:

I call it ‘vital’ because what you are engineering is a fundamental rebalancing of the global order. For too long the world has suffered a unipolar power structure. Granted, that structure has been altered significantly by China, but woe upon mankind if the planet is to be governed solely by the mobsters of Washington and the beasts of Beijing. The destiny of Russia may have suffered a detour, but the humiliation of weakness and its corollary, irrelevance, are behind us. The motherland once again travels the path ordained by our history and the genius of our people. You are in the vanguard of that voyage. Again, I congratulate you.

Putin has no loyalty even to his best friend, President Xi, whom he called a “beast of Beijing.”

Putin:

Permit me now to remind you of your ongoing assignment.

The President of Russia is stating he HAS BEEN and IS CONTINUING to target the Constitution of the United States of America.

Putin:

The destabilization of American democracy remains an indispensable component of advance for the Russian Federation. The equation is simple. The more untenable, the more embarrassing, the more indefensible democracy is made to appear in the country of its greatest exponent — the very cradle of democracy in the modern age — the more appealing will become its main alternative. The seamless process of governance created within the Russian Federation will increasingly be seen as the inevitable successor to democracy wherever that cumbersome and inefficient system persists.

To an autocrat like Putin, democracy is cumbersome because people are disposable.

Putin:

The greatest enemy of our ambition has long been a document, but the power of the said document is waning. It is losing its luster. Its efficacy has been tested and found severely wanting. The document is the Constitution of the United States.

Putin will never understand Americans do not pledge allegiance to a person, a party, or a king — but to the Constitution. Putin presumes Americans have lost their commitment to freedom and the Constitution while asserting he is a competent leader.

The Criminal Kingpin wouldn’t work so hard to destroy our allegiance to the Constitution if Americans were not loyal to it.

Putin is wrong about a lot of things.

Putin:

Like all documents this one too, even as it grasps with withering hands titular authority, can be transcended. A piece of paper can be ignored; a law enforced only in ink can be defied and violated. I give you but one of many statistics that foretell the decline within the ranks of the American people of their formerly sacred piece of paper. A recent poll showed that nearly half the members of the Republican Party support removing barriers to the exercise of presidential power. By extension that means half the members of one of two principal centers of political influence in the United States are comfortable with the idea of transcending, ignoring, defying and violating their foundational document.

The Republicans are tone-deaf about their behavior to the rest of the world. It’s disgusting even to our enemies.

Russian advisors identified the Republican Party as the most significant vulnerability in the American democratic system. The Republican Party has pushed an agenda that undermines the Constitution and the Federal Government’s powers.

Putin proudly boasted about using Republican ambitions for their own gain rather than upholding Constitutional responsibilities. This has allowed Putin to seize control of the Republican party and manipulate it to his own ends.

It clearly shows how Putin’s authoritarianism has infiltrated the United States.

Putin:

A document is only as strong as the people who uphold it. Having exposed the Republican Party as one capable of being loyal to a man rather than a set of long-held principles, we now fully understand that Trump is not abnormal within the Republican Party — he portrays it exactly. He did not change the party, he exposed it.

When Trump called for the termination of the Constitution — He did it to avoid consequences for crimes against the Constitution that he has committed.

America is weakened before our enemies because Trump and the Republicans are under the Kremlin’s control.

Putin:

I submit to you, gentlemen, that a current joke in the United States to the effect that the Republican Party has become the Russiapublican Party is less a witticism than a reflection of your galloping success. This komitet can thus find additional agents and support for its work from what might well be the largest fifth column in the history of conflict.

A Fifth Column — is defined as a clandestine group or faction of subversive agents who attempt to undermine a nation’s solidarity by any means.

Six years later; the Republican Party reflects the worst of American and Russian society.

Putin has invested deeply to ensure the Republican Party as his Fifth Column of externally backed enemies within — a political trojan horse within the U.S., supported and controlled by Russia.

Putin:

Crucially, you have proved that conflict is no longer about troops and tanks. It is not dependent on industry or money. Modern combat can take place entirely in cyberspace. Words have finally proved mightier than swords. Images have become artillery shells. Only online can we reach into the private spaces of individuals, and thereby diminish a society. Only there can we exploit, first, the advantage of surprise, and thereafter practice, simultaneously, denial and persistence.

Putin targets Americans in cyberspace, using “denial and persistence” to break us from within. Republican support is required for this to happen.

Republican lies and manipulations of the public are not new — but an enemy of the Constitution has never been in control of the Republican Party before now.

Putin: Through your efforts in this new field of conflict we have helped orchestrate a breaking of faith in the United States. I return to the issue of the American constitution. The bond between the American people and their piece of paper has frayed. For the second time in a generation the archaic rules of their primal law has allowed the loser of a presidential election to be the winner.

At least a hundred million Americans thus regard Trump as illegitimate. This knife in the American body can be thrust and re-thrust to the benefit of our objectives.

Every American still feels that knife from the first “illegitimate” Trump Presidency, and now he’s sharpening it to destroy what’s left of our Democracy in 2024.

In order to rip the Constitution from our hands, Putin must make Americans doubt the validity of the election process. This is Putin’s plan at work to destroy Democracy.

Putin:

The decline of America as a supposed exemplar, and the retreat of America from its international prominence — these developments are being mourned by the American intelligentsia, but their hands are tied. The old ruling class, the mandarins of Washington, the Harvard crybabies, the Soros eunuchs — they are out of power. Still worse for them and their centuries-old ideals, they see their institutions failing before their eyes. Admission of this only intensifies their frustration. They will rage, we already hear the word resist, but they will be pissing against the wind. Gentlemen, you have created a special blight in America, a winter of the soul for liberal democrats. God willing, it could be permanent.

“Their hands are tied” is highly indicative of the power dynamics at play, as he is asserting his dominion over the Republicans and displaying his perceived dominance.

The phrase “institutions failing before their eyes” is a direct reference to the Democratic systems that recognize and uphold the rights and dignity of all individuals.

Putin:

You have succeeded in undermining and circumventing two institutional pillars of America: the Republican party and the electoral system. Going forward, I ask that you now concentrate on assisting the president to emasculate the norms of the American political process, to slash and cut at the civility that must underlie a democracy to allow the democracy to function.

According to Putin, they were ordered to undermine American political norms by infiltrating the Republican Party, which consistently opposes the electoral system, to help Donald Trump and sabotage the trust in the American democratic system.

Putin:

Your task is made easier by the prime impulse of Trump. The people of the United States are becoming accustomed to this man looking directly at a duck, then coming out to face the cameras and claiming he has just observed a dolphin — or a donkey. We must keep in mind that every Trump untruth helps spread a virus of vice across the United States. Every falsehood that originates in the temple of the White House represents another blow to American probity, a further defilement of the country’s civic culture, a deeper contamination of its public square.

“Contamination of the public square” is what we see with Elon Musk’s contribution to Putin’s asymmetric attack. Exploiting Twitter (the virtual Town’s Square) is a major tool of the Kremlin.

There is no shortage of “useful idiots” who are willing to assist Putin in achieving his goals.

Putin:

All this in turn helps bury the idea of American exceptionalism among nations. Accordingly our resources must find means to feed and water his dolphins and donkeys. If there is no agreement on a foundation of facts within any organization, and particularly within an organization as large as the U.S. government, decision-making becomes random, indefinite, enfeebled. With weakened decision-making will come weaker resolve and less engagement in the world.

Putin explains exactly how destroying “from within” works. It’s a process he perfected on the Russian people.

Putin:

That is the future you will now midwife for the United States: less engagement with the rest of the world. As Washington shuts doors, or has doors shut in its face, doors will open for Moscow. Particularly in Europe. Primarily in Europe. The continent is after all Russia’s front yard. It should be treated as such. We must never forget that democracy has no historic hold on the imagination of many Europeans. The eastern nations have no traditions of worship for the ballot box. They lived for centuries without parades of political parties, without the bedlam of competing governments-in-waiting. Where democracy precariously holds in the east, it can lose grip before a strong wind. Look at Hungary. Watch Poland. The western nations? Which among them did not sustain centuries of romance with monarchy or empire?

Until recently we saw dictatorships in Greece, Spain, Portugal. Nor should we forget the groveling soul of the French, the cheese-eaters who wrapped their conquered arms around the toady Pétain. The British? Those bankrupt dukes and faggots? They have filled their little island with Caribbean sloth and Muslim sorcery — they are spiralling down. The Germans? In their souls they are restless craven sheep, waiting for the return of a potent shepherd.

So I say with confidence, the ground of our front yard is well seeded, it awaits us. American withdrawal from the continent will render Europe progressively prone to the embrace of the immortal bear.

His words mean so much more when taken in context. With his ruthless tactics, Putin, who aspires to be like Koschei, the Immortal Bear, captures his victims in a chaotic tornado of violence and power and is utterly terrified of death.

His toxic masculinity fools no one more than himself. We are all tempted to roll our eyes at the absurdity of a leader who fears losing his life while believing himself immortal.

Putin projects himself as he wishes the world to see him, especially the men in that room, as eternal and unfrightened by death. Despite this, he hides, attacks from the shadows, and cowers as he compels his soldiers to rape babies, women, and men before brutally murdering them — or risk being murdered by their chain of command.

Putin:

My gratitude again for your crucial work. It is my turn now to listen. I am eager to learn of your new initiatives.

In truth, the world is completely unaware of the danger he presents. He sincerely believes in the deception he propagates — but it doesn’t make it factual — it makes him dangerous to humanity.

When Trump was asked about the information in the Kremlin Papers, he responded in typical Trump fashion. Lies.

Trump:

“This is disgusting. It’s fake news, just like RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA was fake news. It’s just the Radical Left crazies doing whatever they can to demean everybody on the right.

Trump consistently sides with Putin over American Intelligence, generals, and Americans. Despite numerous investigations, the complete truth behind their relationship is still coming to light because Putin has played the game so damn well.

“Subtle and insubstantial, the expert leaves no trace; divinely mysterious, he is inaudible. Thus he is master of his enemy’s fate.” — Sun Tzu

Experts initially considered the speech “too convincing” and “more Russian propaganda.”

Very little is “leaked” from Russia; it is scripted.

Six years later, Putin’s arrogance compels him to commit his crimes in plain sight because, as he says, he believes he’s unstoppable. At the very least, it takes away his plausible deniability.

There is an unmistakable link between the Republican party’s adherence to Putin’s strategy and his political goals to destroy democracy.`

“The institutions of our democracy and law, are under vicious, unsustainable, and unendurable attack — from within.” — Judge Luttig

Putin and the Republicans sabotaged our defense system from within.
