Witness Touzdae wakes inside her body aboard the Needlecraft remembering her suicide attempt of the past. She relishes thoughts of her and Jac together.
Recap done for now. And…
Warrior Jac’s remained unconscious on the deck of the Needlecraft’s cockpit. His spirit emerged and accessed the ship’s controls.
“Harry, move the Fish outside the outer edge of the Well,” Bendel commanded.
“What about Jac’s Needlecraft?”
“I’ve launched a probe to keep an eye on it. It is the probe that will survive the Well thanks to Jac, back when we were friends. Oh — the irony,” Bendel laughed, full of himself.
Jac dreamt. He freed himself from his body imprisoned in the cell. Floating above he saw a luminous gold braid emanating from his naval. This is dreamtime, he whispered in thought. Take me to the highest vibration of what I am to see, to hear, to behold, he intended. For the highest vibration of all…
He was taken to the El Moon where the Emmons Sisterhood’s Sacred Shrine flourished in effervescent purple, pink, and turquoise lights. It was Touzdae’s mafa, deep in meditation. An old man who may have been sculpted from wood sat there too. Jac was absorbed into this ancient figure. The wooden man’s heart beat in and out for ninety seconds and stopped. It didn’t beat again for three hours. Again his heart beat for ninety seconds — the one and only beat. Jac felt spaciousness outside time and eternal peace.
Touzdae’s mafa rose from her seat. It was only her spirit that rose and blew a soft breeze into Jac’s inner eye as the third one-heart-beat occurred. Jac transported to the Needlecraft’s cockpit by an unseen force. He melded into Warrior Jac. Peace blended the two Jac’s together in spirit.
The Fish entered into one of the Deign frigate’s cargo bays. Once secured and re-pressurized Bendel met Baz Timazhey outside. They conferred. A machine, thirteen feet high and six feet wide at the base was lowered into Fish’s cargo bay.
“Is that what I think it is,” Harry spoke as Bendel came up through the airlock, followed by Timazhey. “Oh.”
“Hi Baz,” Harry greeted Timazhey.
“Special Agent Kristos, good to see you again,” Baz said.
“I see you know my cousin,” Bendel said to Harry. Aside to Baz, “You can dispense with the formal crap. We’re all on a first-name basis here.”
Baz nodded.
Jac continued through the Dreamtime to Touzdae in a bed surrounded by white light. He created a bubble out of the white light to include himself and Touzdae inside it.
“So Harry, what do you think the machine is?” Bendel asked.
“The Dark Ray machine that harvests light from so-called higher vibrational beings. It’s legendary.”
“Spot on!” Bendel was jubilant.
The walls in the cell where Jac’s unconscious body floated contracted. A few seconds passed as if the space breathed.
Warrior Jac’s body along with a blended Jac inside decompiled and disappeared.
“What are your plans for the machine?” Harry wondered.
“All in good time,” Bendel smiled.
Jac opened his third-eye and revealed what Touzdae’s mafa had placed within. Before completing the transmission Jac was yanked away.
