Touzdae and Hannah had argued about being chained together or not. Touzdae won out and they were together.
*“Look at this,” a thick helmeted guard called his supervisor over to the bin.
“How is this possible? Luna?”
Touzdae looked straight up into the supervisor’s eyes.
“Free her now,” he commanded the guard.
“Princess Luna, is this your slave?”
“Of course, she is, what do you think?” Touzdae, outraged.
The helmeted guard unhinged her and lifted her from the bin. He attached a lead rail to Hannah’s cuffs and gave the control panel to Touzdae.
“Lead me out of this place. Take me to my chambers, immediately.”
Luna shocked Touzdae backward using a sonic wave. The black hair of Luna against Touzdae’s blonde. Luna trapped Touzdae in a forcefield near the window.
“You’re Touzdae,” Luna said. “You’ve got to be. I thought you dead.”
“Who are you? You look like me with black hair. Are you a clone?”
Luna laughed. “You don’t remember, do you?”
Hannah was restrained against the closet chamber and surrounded by a forcefield.
Hay-ta Von Deign, the nineteenth burst through the door and strode to Luna. He picked her up, and tossed her onto a wide chair.
“Hey,” Luna protested before she realized who was tossing her down.
Hay-ta glanced at her using “the sight”.
She cowered. “Sorry Master.”
He turned and looked toward Luna’s double.
“You are Touzdae,” he said.
“Now everyone knows my name, but who are you?
“Silence!” the voice shot through the force field and choked her neck for a few seconds before he released her. He collapsed the forcefield and picked up the crumpled young woman and placed her in Luna’s arms.
“Your sister, my slave. I’m sure you recognized her.”
She nodded yes.
“Restrain her before she awakens. By my design!” Von Deign turned his attention to Hannah impaled on the closet door.
He tried to probe Hannah’s mind without success.
“I recognize you. You are from the distant past, from the Third World Era of planet Terra. You have an unusual DNA count, higher than your species of that time. You could prove valuable.” With ease, he moved his hand through the force field. He pushed his thumb to her third eye and held it there. A nanosecond passed. Electrical energy discharged and she collapsed unconscious.
He turned back to Luna.
He smiled pleased that Touzdae was restrained by his design.
“Take her to the Innermost Chamber. Make sure she is tightly bound.”
Luna hoisted Touzdae over her shoulder and took her.
Von Deign blinked three times and activated the communication systems.
“Is all secure, Captain?”
“Yes sir, we are ready for lift-off. Ready for the next city.”
“Cancel all other cities. Take us to the spaceport in the mountains.”
“Aye, sir. Commencing 60-second countdown.”
The landing pad retracted into the castle/ship. The ship lifted through the dome. The monstrosity created much more turbulence than had ever been before.
Luna looked on in fascination at her Master, Hay-ta Von Deign. The pressurized syringe deposited its contents in the bio-computer. A green wave saturated the grid-like screen and numbers tumbled into position below.
“Curious,” he commented thinking aloud. He looked back at Luna.
“You see, my child, the RNA sequencing from this extraordinary creature comes from a different time in the distant past. The extra DNA makes her a near-perfect being. She may be the first body that is not able to be duplicated. It would be the first. Further testing is necessary to find out.”
“Will you make a duplicate of her then, my Master?”
“That I don’t know yet. I need more of her DNA.”
“What about the DNA you already have?”
“Destroyed by the analysis.”
