ARC OF THE IMMORTALS/ Book 1 — Part 2
Pursuit: 31 / The Fate of Emmons People
Recap: Touzdae learns about the two kinds of Immortals, visits a spaceship on fire and becomes Venerable Makadennakitch Vera along with two other beings. Vera becomes Entu — a high vibrational being. Entu/Touzdae leads the Emmons people toward safety options.

One thousand days after impact Entu and her counsel met to determine the resources and morale of the people.
The Chief Scientist, Matoo spoke:
“I am afeared that there have been some miscalculations on the time we may survive here. Even without those that have perished, and even though the effects will not be felt for five years. But after that… We will need a solution. Drastic conservation methods will not be enough. Eight to ten years, or we will all perish.”
“Matoo, are you sure of your figures?” Entu asked. “Have they been checked by our scientific community here?”
“No Entu and I am sure they will come with the same results.”
“Very well, let us assume for a moment that you are right. I have two solutions. Both are ambitious. One involves building spacecraft and sending them on solar sails to the Antarians. The other involves raising the vibration of the planet into a higher dimension. If we can collectively achieve this we can clean the atmosphere of the dust and debris. Those that leave by spacecraft will never be able to return here unless they become adept at raising their vibration. There is also no guarantee that they will survive the long flight even if two stasis chambers are built for each craft. I estimate we will only be able to build three craft with a total of six crew — two people on each ship. The building of the ships and their launching pads would need to start immediately. All this is contingent on the accuracy of the calculations. We will adjourn for one cycle to determine this,” she turned aside to Matoo.
“Will that be enough time?”
He nodded.
At the end of six years, four spacecraft were launched from the highest mountains using a catapult system. All four ships were able to deploy their solar sails. The two-person crews traveled to the Antarian System at sub-light speeds.
Eighteen hundred left. Five thousand people below ground to survive for eight hundred years — the estimate. Eighteen hundred moved onto the ascended planet of Ennis.
Six months after the atmosphere was cleared two thousand members of the population process emerged from the caves. All of them engaged in the ascension process.
Entu bi-located to Antares Prime to plead with the authorities to rescue the four ships of the Emmons. Antarian ships were dispatched. Three of the four solar sail ships were recovered.
She met with the space travelers.
“I congratulate you on your fortitude and bravery on your long journey. Ennis has ascended with almost four thousand of our peoples — the Emmons. The lower vibrational planet must be evacuated over the course of the next two thousand years because Emmons will be destroyed by a stellar fragment from a distant supernova explosion.
“In the meantime, I request that you help found our spiritual practice on the moon circling the third planet otherwise so named as the El planet. It is through these practices that you have already begun the foundation both for our people and the ascending consciousness of this sector of the galaxy.
“The El Moon has an oxygen-rich atmosphere. The fragments that have congealed there hold the sacred wells of Emmons and form the basis for our practices. I must know within 12 cycles on this planet whether you wish to join me in this beginning.
“Do not answer now. Take the time to be sure… Blessings on you. I take my leave of you.”
After the eight three of four travelers returned to Entu’s compound.
“Where is she?”
“Preaching ascension practices in the streets of the lower quarter of Lui. We expect her back by sunset.”
The taller Emmons stepped outside. The sun was nearly set.
“That would be in a few minutes.”
Entu stepped up into the room and a fresh breeze lightened the space. She appeared to glow.
“Are you here because you have accepted my invitation?”
“Yes,” they said in unison.
“And our sister Lao?”
“She is organizing a team to travel to Emmons of Ennis aboard an Antarian ship.”
Entu beamed.
“This is right.” She sat on the floor and invited the three to join her. They sat. “I have begun preparations to travel to the Moon of El to the sacred pools of Ennis. I have satellite data that there is a rich oxygen atmosphere that surrounds our moon. It shouldn’t be there but it is there. The indigenous scientists are baffled. They, of course, want to go there and study it. I have convinced one to fund a ship for us and just him to help us locate the pools.”
Three years later
Entu stepped forward lost her balance. She fell down the rough-hewn steps toward the first of the three pools. Vera stepped clear of Entu’s body and Touzdae looked down at Entu lying lifeless there. She watched Vera’s spirit rise up into the night sky.
She was pulled back into Entu for a moment. Entu and Touzdae expanded across the universe for a few moments. Touzdae separated from Entu. Entu’s spirit rose.
“I divide you from my self and set you free little one. I thank you for your help for our future. I hope our life together with Vera and me has helped you in your journey back to your true self.”
The tube of light streamers popped and crackled as she was deposited back into her body aboard the Phorae’s Shipyard Station. She slowed her heart rate, calmed her respiration, and drifted…
