Purple Fire
It’s Jacaranda time again.
You smell it before you see it. You touch it, you feel it. And enveloped in its fragrant warm embrace, you realise, spring has just blossomed into this seductive, sultry and sensual summer, dancing all around in a fragrant purple fire.
To enjoy its magnificent beauty, I can stand the aftermath of its majestic annual visit, the scorching sweltering summer ☀️ that finally arrives right at its heels. The sky burns with the hottest temperature, and the wind gets hot and dry.
And on such scorching afternoons suddenly you find a patch of purple 💜 shadow, deep, cool and vibrant and you go, ‘òh! 😍
I went walking into my favourite area, looking for Jacaranda blossoms.

And carpets of its fragrant flowers welcomed me, and I was as usual mesmerised by its sheer beauty!

Bringing pleasure to all the senses, with its fiery colour, seductive smell, and velvety touch, Jacaranda has such heavenly beauty.
Blooming on the roadsides, it transforms the mundane into an enchanting place, as you come across this tree load of stars, twinkling in the bright day light!
Jacaranda is my favourite tree, and the whole year is spent longing in its Intizar, for its Deedar! At this time of the year Sydney is abuzz with a lot happening!
Halloween, Dusshera, then Diwali and the purple fire of Jacaranda provides the perfect backdrop to these festivities.
Wishing you all a happy Diwali!! The festival of lights 🪔💜!!
