Psychedelics Can Change the World
The use of mind-bending substances stems back to tens of thousands of years ago and have been used in cultures all around the world. Our ancient ancestors discovered some peculiar looking plants and decided to observe what would happen if they ingested some.

Back then, psychedelics such as hallucinogenic mushrooms, plants, and cactus were used as a means for healing rituals and religious ceremonies.
These substances grew organically and had the capacity to completely open up the “doors to perception” (Thank you to Aldous Huxley). After multiple experiences of dropping acid, I will do my absolute best to describe some experiences as well as offer insight to what I’ve learned along the road.
There will also be concrete reasons as to why psychedelics are impactful and the potential it has for generating value for our society.
Psychedelics can change the landscape of the world if we allow it to work its powers.
There’s not much research yet regarding psychedelic study and its profound effects on people. I can only speak from my experience, and I found LSD to be a wonderful tool to allow myself to explore the inner workings of my consciousness.
The use of psychedelics can lead to tremendous breakthroughs, new insights, creative endeavors, spiritual awakening, and overall appreciation of the universe in which one inhabits.
It seems in modern society that people as a collective, are operating on a lower plane of consciousness. We forget that we share this universe along with each other and that we all generally desire the same things.
I truly believe these powerful tools allow us to go back to our roots as human beings. Every trip is unique in its own right, as I have learned something new every single time I ingested LSD.

Our mind operates similar to the computer I am typing this on, and perhaps psychedelics can be implemented almost like an anti-virus software, where one’s spirit becomes cleansed.
The modern world desperately needs psychedelics on a global scale. The problem with these mind-bending drugs is the stigma that is constantly associated with drugs in general.
Psychedelics are often classed in the same breath as heroin or meth and can get a negative rap from individuals and groups who are severely uneducated on the matter.
It’s quite humorous how alcohol, cigarettes, and pharmaceuticals are socially accepted by the masses while psychedelics are constantly overlooked and shunned.
Life itself is a trip, and the journey is a never-ending one until the day we die. After an acid trip, I am often enlightened, and I look at the world with refreshed eyes.
While the experience is taking place, colors appear more vibrant, there are geometric patterns that are present all around me, and I construct eye-opening ideas that are outside my usual realm of thinking.

What also happens is laughing fits to the point where my stomach hurts, a deeper connection to the universe, music sounds immaculate, and I become more aware and introspective of my life and the decisions I’ve made along my journey.
Philosophical conversation is imminent as I am passionate to speak about the condition of the human spirit and the direction we are going as a species. I look forward to a future where psychedelics are socially acceptable as it invites a vast array of conversation and active discussion.
Like many new ideas, it will initially be met with harsh criticisms. New concepts are never welcomed with open arms, especially if it challenges the status-quo and forces people to question what they believed to be true.
Psychedelic substances can help relieve ailments from anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction. We must encourage thorough research along with careful experimentation because there are still loads to uncover surrounding these magical tools.
Self-discovery is a common occurrence that is reported among “psychonauts”, which is a term that means, someone who explores altered states of consciousness, especially through hallucinatory drugs.
A healthy mind is a curious mind, and to seek understanding amid our declining civilization offers one solace in this ever-changing world.

The possibilities are endless, and I genuinely believe psychedelics will change the world if broadly accepted amongst circles and legalized to its full extent.
Radical open-mindedness of new discoveries, creativity, self-awareness, and ways of life are vital in order for these mind-bending tools to do what they were put on earth to do.
It’s time for a massive paradigm shift to take place to allow individuals the freedom to explore the hidden depths of their consciousness. This may take a while; however, it would greatly benefit the future of humanity.
