Enlarged Prostate
Prostate Improved Using Chocolate
Easy, readily available & no major risks, unlike most home remedies

Wake-up call
I stood in front of the urinal. Nothing. For almost a minute. It had never happened before.
The next morning, I told my wife, the medical expert. She said, “If it ever gets completely blocked, you will need emergency surgery and a catheter.”
One of the scariest sci-fi stories from my teens 60 years ago involving a catheter flashed into my mind. I immediately called the doctor and wound up visiting a urologist. I had an enlarged prostate, fortunately benign.
The standard treatment starts with pills and later, UroLift surgery.
UroLift System ad: Did you know that 70% of men over 60 have an enlarged prostate, also known as BPH?
One of my friends said he had been taking a combination of pills for 15 years. I couldn’t take the usual pill, Flomax, due to dizziness and lack of energy.
Surfing the internet for prostate remedies, I saw 72%-cacao chocolate in a brief video about natural ingredients for a pill. We had it in the house! My wife adds it to her morning coffee.
I decided to try that chocolate to see if it had any impact. My urologist saw no harm in trying.
I ate one square per day of the 72%-cacao chocolate with breakfast. I figured two bars, 16 squares, couldn’t hurt anything and might even help in some way.
The chocolate worked!
Nothing happened for the first 10 days. I still made five overnight bathroom trips, which is a classic symptom of BPH.
On the 11th day, I made two trips.
It stayed that way most of the time over the following two months.
Occasionally, I made three trips and a couple of times, one. In addition, I quit running to the restroom when out to dinner and dancing. So what used to be four or five times per night went to zero or one.
I have not had a repeat of the original problem. These results are similar to those of the friend taking many pills.
Conclusion
I did have to change my diet slightly for the additional calories, eating one tablespoon less of dry oatmeal for breakfast. Also, commercial chocolate bars don’t work, or I would never have had the BPH problem. I’ve been eating regular candy bars for years, but they contain surprisingly little chocolate.
I don’t know how long it will work, but I plan to have that chocolate for breakfast until something changes.
