Agreed: Profile pages are a bit of a pigs breakfast. Primarily readers are interested in only “stories” written by you, not claps and not responses so the default displayed should be just your written stories, and if a reader wants to view claps/responses they could then click the relevant tab.
I was so disappointed with the lack of control of the profile page that I created my own publication (Adlers Writing) and have total control over the display of my stories. I also now publish Microfiction from other writers.
Also: There is a way to list just your “favourite” followers — have a story (doesn’t have to be public) with a list of all your favourite writers in the form of medium names ie start the name with a @, type the name, after a few characters you should be able to select.
Also: On a story when you hit Enter there are 2 lines vertical spacing Hitting Shift Enter gives 1 vertical line → saves space…
