The mentality you need to cultivate for moneymaking.

Making money isn’t directly correlated with what you do at sight but with what you do consistently. You can’t rely on a standard job to become rich or at least reach beyond a certain comfort level; you need to work hard and build something that will generate passive income.

A Job is Necessary, But

Working a standard job is necessary for growth. But you can’t develop into an individual who will create something that generates passive income without the required experience.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that what you work in determines the field you will be stuck in. By all means, no. I’m saying that people should know how to talk, negotiate, and navigate formally around the workspace.

In the end, this experience only comes to you by working and watching the workflow in action. However, you can also opt for another option to cultivate the required experience, but it comes with a sacrifice:

Do Everything Yourself and Learn from Scratch

It’s not a bad option; it’s just time-consuming. You can embark on any journey you want and start with whatever idea you like, but you will risk making a lot of mistakes and you will waste a lot of time figuring them out.

Trial and error, while a good and necessary thing, isn’t a practical way to start your journey. You need to build the foundation of your mentality on the grounds of your knowledge, but if your knowledge is lacking then your foundation is bound to fail.

You need to work under someone who knows what they’re doing and why they’re doing it; you need to observe the confident maneuver of experienced people so that you can gain that confidence yourself.

Confidence is Knowledge Without the Mask

Confidence is necessary — especially if you want to make money.

I’m not talking about the kind of confidence you gain to go and approach an attractive person. I’m specifically talking about workplace confidence where you know you can deliver a message and negotiate with the right people to win their support.

You need that type of confidence because making money requires a strong character and ultra-strong discipline to accompany it. You need to read, observe, and ask as much as possible to become someone worthy of making money.

People won’t trust you with their money if you’re not credible

Being credible means being experienced and knowledgeable. Being so means you are someone who will deliver a great product. Therefore, people will seek to use you for their benefit. If they see that you can give them what they want, they will give you their money.

Q: Are you someone worthy of being paid for the service you provide?

If your answer is no, then you need to prioritize becoming that person.

Life is short and all that, but most importantly youth is short. The best way to ensure an easier life and smoother maneuvering later on is by making money as early as possible to alleviate stress off your future self.

You Will Have Other Priorities Later

Stop focusing on your entertainment and your desires as if they’re the only things that matter in life. If you can contain yourself and limit your leisure to twice a week you will find it easier to pressure them in the future.

You don’t have a third option, so instead of dwelling on what you don’t have or overthinking about what you want in life, the best thing you can do for yourself and for the people who love you is to start working and cultivating a passion for a type of work.

Work is the flame that lights up your future. The stronger that flame, the brighter the future.

Do yourself a favor: Start as soon as possible and don’t waste any more time. The time you recklessly spend today will be paid for with your time in the future, and it will hit you hard when you find yourself not having enough time for yourself, family, or even friends all because you need to work to keep things from falling apart.
