Letter of intent to DEP AI vs HI book project

I respectfully address my letter to the amazing DEP editors:

My Thoughts on the AI — HI Movement
It dawned on me that the human touch in writing is becoming premium content for those who still appreciate and recognize it.
Who will still be able to tell the difference ten years from now between AI-generated and HI content?
I plan to explore this in-depth in my article, looking for some research or scientific-based articles on the topic.
I aim to deconstruct the importance of writing from the heart and mind as a human being, as opposed to inputting ideas or requests into an AI generator.
As food for thought, I would like to highlight the emotional factor that transpires through well-crafted HI pieces.
My Outline
I will take this step by step:
1. Young people nowadays are growing up with AI assistants and bot interactions online.
Will they still be able to distinguish between what is a human answer and what is not?
2. Imagine that people cannot distinguish or express human emotion from the depths of their minds because of the excessive use of AI generators.
Does it mean humanity will lose the main ingredient that makes us human? That is pure thinking and the ability to express thoughts independently.
3. If we lose the ability to think and express our thoughts, our brains will degenerate to some extent.
It would be interesting to explore this in more depth, so I will seek to provide scientific-based proof or explanations on this.
I will make connections between actions and emotional reactions.
Companies are already offering human customer service as a premium service for those who can afford it and who can still detect the difference between the two forms of communication.
My Motivation
I feel deeply motivated to write on this topic because it affects us writers and editors every day. The future will surely bring more challenges, and now is the best time to act and offer our support to human writers.
Writing has been, for me, an action coming from the depths of my heart. Oftentimes, I engage with emotions and figures of speech running through my mind, wanting to escape through the therapeutic act of writing.
I want people to keep writing about their being and feelings and expressing emotions when applicable.
AI is too predictable, and I can immediately spot it as fake. I played a lot with chatGPT for this reason, to understand what it does and how the output looks. It is below any humanly created writing piece, there is no imagination at work. It will slowly kill creativity if used extensively by young people and professionals.
So, please, join me in this movement, and let’s support HI writing for a future where the next generation will still be able to connect language with feelings, emotions, and creativity.
Publishing and Promoting
I would encourage ebook publishing, perhaps even translations in more languages, though I don’t yet have any experience with it. I plan to publish a small book or poems later this year, so I will learn more about the process.
I am good at promoting on social media, and I am also running a substack newsletter. I will do my best to help promote the book.
