Yesterday or tomorrow, and why? Tomorrow I can remedy yesterday’s blunders and repeat its successes. But yesterday gives tomorrow its reason for being.

Prose or poetry, and why? Facts are under siege. Prose’s gift is a description of the actual world. We need more of that today.
