Pranks on Social Media Will Have an Effect on Other People

Pranks on social media see a different world that the reality is. Some people might not like those pranks.

You need to think before posting those videos on social media.

I come across a lot of TikTok videos lately. I think, what do you think when sharing those videos? What do you want to teach your fans? I think you should think about that.

A lot of these videos are pranks. Pranks I think are harming teenagers. Do people even know how other people feel when pranking others?

Some pranks are nice, some pranks are harming others. Those videos could seem to be fine on the first hand, but if you look further what possible message you give to your fans, there are possibilities you’re giving the wrong message to them.

As a TikTokker, as it is called, you should know what you can do towards others.

It is what you send out to people. The younger generation is watching your videos and they might think just to add ketchup ion your favorite white shirt and it will never get out.

Teenagers need a good example from their influencers.

My daughter is watching TikTokkers, but she doesn’t understand, yet, what that means, the message behind those videos.

As a parent you should talk about it with your children about what those videos can do to someone else and that they need to be careful when they are pranking someone else too.

That person just doesn’t like being pranked.

It is your action influencers.

I found on TikTok videos I dislike because of the bad influences they give their followers and fans.

Cheating

https://vm.tiktok.com/JRS1fA1/ In this video, you see a young man and a young woman. They seem to be a happy couple. Standing in front of the water together. Then there comes another woman and push the young woman in the water. The young man walks away with the other woman.

The message you give is that you’re allowed cheating on whomever you want to and that it is fine to do so.

This message is so wrong because you learn people cheating. And that is the worst thing in a relationship.

Stealing stuff and doing whatever you want with it

https://vm.tiktok.com/JRSSspK/ The wife takes the wallet of her husband. She puts it a glass of water and saying ‘it needed a bath’.

The message you give is stealing an object from someone else is fine to do whatever you want with it.

This message is wrong. Young people think you might steal anything.

Glue everything to your mother

https://vm.tiktok.com/JRSDfRu/ I’m so sorry for this mother. Her son glued things on his mother. That stuff didn’t get rid of her. And then also calling her when she drinks hot coffee. It is all over her face, it is on her phone and what about her clothes. It doesn’t get out of it.

The message you give your fans is you have no respect for your parents. You should treat your parents with dignity.

This message is wrong to me as this young man doesn’t have any respect for his mother and do whatever he wants to prank his mother.

Spilling fluids

https://vm.tiktok.com/JRSDntb/ This mother has been pranked too. She is working on her laptop and her daughter makes spilling water on a plate, put it in the refrigerator and the moment her mom leaves the computer, she puts that glue thing on the laptop. Her mom thinks her daughter spilled she was drinking on her laptop. And then blaming it on the cat…

This message is wrong because spilling on purpose is bad. Not only on digital devices but everywhere.

Trimming the hair

https://vm.tiktok.com/JRS6BeR/ Trimming hair prank. Father and son pranking mom/partner. Son asks daddy to trim his hair, while the mother is on the phone, accidentally trimmed the hair of mother. She gets mad.

This message is wrong because you might think you may trim the hair of someone else without permission.

Scary your partner with someone in the basement

https://vm.tiktok.com/JRSfD5j/ Partner says ‘there is someone in the basement, I’m really scared’. He goes inside, she locks the door, the lights get off, mom stands next to him in the dark with a black thieves mask over her face, he screams.

This message is wrong because you let your fans think you might break into a house.

This is what I mean by what social media can do to people. And especially younger generations are on social media much more. Do they realize what their message could be to their fans? Are they aware of the feelings of other people?

Just to name a few.

There are also lovely pranks on social media, but those trends are more harmful than it was meant. That is just my view.

What message do you want to give to your followers?
