There are multiple thoughts in our mind on specific topics, but don’t let all thoughts on your tongue. Be clear and concise while expressing your thoughts.
Maintain eye contact while talking to see the person’s emotions and reactions while they listen to you.
Don’t just throw your point.
Active listening also plays a significant and important role. When someone is speaking, focus solely on what they are saying.
Nod or smile to show that you are listening.
The ending note is something that defines not only the whole conversation but also your overall relationship.
Never interrupt the speaker. Let them explain their point. In case you interrupt them, they will start speaking in their mind about their leftover thoughts.
If the other one is highly extroverted, then start with “I understand your point; now please give me a chance to express my thoughts.”
This disruption of stopping them during the conversation will also disturb the flow of their message and make them feel unheard.
Try to find common ground to build a foundation for resolving the conflict.
