“Pastel de Nata “ or “ Custard tart”

Hey guys hope you guys like a Portuguese custard tart recipe, one of my favorites in this entire world!

This tart is super famous in Portugal and also knowen as “ Pasteis de Belém” the Bethlehem tart.

Ingredients:

puff pastry 250 grams of Sugar 65 grams of cornstarch half a liter of milk half a liter of water 4 gems 1 egg

Preparation mode:

Mix the water and sugar in a pan and heat until completely dissolved. In another pan, add the flour with the milk and bring to a boil to thicken. Add the flour, the dissolved sugar, the 4 egg yolks and the egg. Place the mixture in a tart pan and bake for an hour at 190ºC. Don’t forget to prick the dough first with a fork to make sure it’s cooked through.
