Societal polarizations are now so strong Threatening American democracy survival Pains my soul seeing how divisive it is Never seeming to arrive at consensus Only arguments and destructive taunts.

One party seems to revel in conspiracies Incessantly lying to American people, White supremacy continues its rise Resentment for those who are not like them Fear truth that Caucasians becoming minority.

Polarizing behaviors continue creating turmoil As other party tries to be welcoming to all races, Only speculations as to where this will head, Sure United States founders spinning in graves As country is moving farther from their intents.

When will reconciliations become possible In political parties and in general populace, Spiritual hopes and dreams for better future In which polarizing passions can be healed.
