Poetry: Today, I’ll Fade Into You

Because there is nothing else left for me to do.

You have crippled little pieces of my soul I’m left here With sorrow Here in my heart Is a hole

It can’t be fixed It can’t be mended There are pieces of myself I’ll never get back A little joy A little peace Will be gone forever

You had the power to do that No one else

I see her spirit In the pink balloons

I see my spirit Fade into an abyss You both don’t realize How much you’ll be missed

So, today I’ll fade into you
