Poetry Is My Safe Space

And it can be yours too!

I often write about writing, and I often wonder, What else can I share about this topic? My brain takes this as a challenge.

When writing about writing, I am often amazed at what I can come up with on the fly.

Most of my pieces are not planned out.

Writing has always been my safe space, and sharing it with you all is its own experience.

I would like to spotlight poetry in this piece because you can share a lot in so little words.

It is socially acceptable to write only a few lines, but those few lines need to be profound.

Contrary to what some people may believe, poetry does not have to rhyme. However, I am a lyricist, so I like my poetry to read how I speak aloud:
