A Love Dark Red

A poem of solace

Bring your dark red blanket over here

Let softness overthrow despair

Then cover us like we are one Won’t need a silver moon or sun.

And hold me close within your arms I’m here to melt just where you are

For me you’re still the warmest place I love the stories in your face.

So many thoughts I long to guess Are you a place of no regret

Like me A fearless soul unknown There may be more to us Who knows

Our chosen words always connect My life and yours A love dark red.
