Planet Fitness Review

Today I went to Planet Fitness. When I was walking in, they had the front desk situated in front of all the equipment. The man behind the counter was friendly and seemed enthusiastic to be there. Planet Fitness looked extremely clean, which is impressive given that it was late on a Monday night when Planet Fitness is usually less busy.
As I walked into Planet Fitness, I noticed the plethora of machines they had. I felt overwhelmed at first because I was not sure where to start. I started with some cardio on the treadmill. The treadmill had these knobs instead of buttons to adjust the speed and the incline, making running a bit easier. After I finished my running workout, I went to the other machines. My favorite was the shoulder press because the way mechanics of the device made lifting very comfortable.
Planet Fitness did not have a crazy selection of weights, which I feel would be necessary at a gym. The weight machines flowed nicely next to the cardio equipment, allowing my workout to flow with the room. I felt Planet Fitness catered to all fitness levels, and they made that clear through the different signs on the wall, many of which echoed a message of being accepting and nonjudgmental.
At an intermediate level of fitness, I felt Planet Fitness could have been a good option for a gym, but it doesn’t offer much for those who are more advanced in their workout routines. I’m sure Planet Fitness has experienced members who can speak to Planet Fitness’s quality as an option if you’re looking to come less frequently than at other gyms. I am satisfied with the cardio equipment at Planet Fitness as there are many machines available of all sorts, and the two treadmills next to me were empty.
Overall, I would highly recommend signing up for Planet Fitness if you are a beginner looking to get started or get back. The staff is friendly, the environment is welcoming, and the selection is good. If you are interested in signing up, you can click this link.
