Poetic love sails

Impatience in the air

an over simplification

I feel you are itching to go

like some creative creature

sprouting new wings

taking a few tangible steps

a leap for freedom

among wary souls

an eagerness to return to life

seeking various shades of seductive content

inclined to fulfill dreams

in fact an island full

of happy places

spearheaded destinations

we return to

even if it’s just in our minds

our emotions tied to nostalgia
