Piers Morgan Has Done The Unthinkable: Outing The Royals at The Heart of The Baby Complexion Saga
Two years too late though….
Exactly Two years ago, this author wrote an article about the royals at the heart of the baby Archie complexion saga.
For those who have forgotten, this drama began in mid-2021 when the exiled couple — Harry and Meghan — granted an interview to Oprah Winfrey to air their grievances about the royal family.
In that very interview, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex mentioned that a few prominent royals had asked about the complexion of their baby, much to horror of Ms. Winfrey and the several millions who were tuned in live.
To lots of folks around the world, the revelation was confirmation of what they have always thought of the royal family: that they are a bunch of racists.
But when it came to naming who the actual racists were, things got a bit tricky.
The British media kept quiet and said absolutely nothing.
And it fell to Twitter to reveal the actual culprits and that was how my article came about on the 29th of November 2021.
But that was then.
Since the Oprah interview, we have had a number of royal bereavements, first with Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh in April 2021 and with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022.
These events have irrevocably the dynamic of the United Kingdom with the Prince of Wales becoming King Charles III and Prince William stepping into the role of the heir to the throne.
Prince Harry’s exile, rather interestingly, has been entrenched with the recent changes to the lines of succession and the brief truce which came about in the last year was ended by Piers Morgan in the most dramatic way, a few days ago.
Looking for a way to dominate the news cycle since the cease fire in Gaza, Morgan, in the most dramatic circumstances, used his talk show to out the royals at the heart of the complexion controversy.
So why does it matter that the names of the erring royals are being outed to the British public in December 2023, given the state of affairs in the world today?
For a host of reasons.
To distract the British public from the resumption of IDF’s genocidal campaign in Gaza and to orchestrate a new campaign of hatred against Meghan Markle.
It is a widely acknowledged fact that the Duchess of Sussex is perceived as an easy target for the right wing media and by renewing attacks against her, Piers Morgan gets to win big in the ratings war.
And that can only mean more money and influence.
Meghan and Harry, who left the United Kingdom years ago, have long since moved on and made peace with the fact that they — and their children — will never be welcome to the royal family under King Charles III and this is highly unlikely to change when William becomes king in the not too distant future.
Piers Morgan knows this, but he has never had any problems with sacrificing his principles at the altar of decency.
It’s time we all moved on from Morgan and his obsession with Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex.
