Abstract

Pied Piper Trump & His Toxic Politics

How Foolhardy Trumpism is Totally Lethal

Photo by Wolfgang Rottmann on Unsplash

COVID-19 Numbers Show Another Reality

Is it just irony or simply gross irresponsibility that as Wednesday’s 06 Jan 2021 violent events at the U.S. Capitol are directly incited by President Trump’s rhetoric during a same-day rally, meanwhile, it was also the most deadly COVID-19 day in the US among the entire world with 3,865 deaths?

A Panegyrical Cant

In Trump’s speech in that same-day “Save America” rally (and the continual irony wastes more lives to a pandemic than being saved), he spends over 1 hour rambling incoherently about figures and twisted facts to insist on his case of a fraudulent election (even though his case was dismissed by the courts in 63 cases) while simultaneously throwing in attacks against the media, the press, big tech, the Democrats, weak Republicans, even education — seemingly everything that American life is built on and stoking up fears for anyone who hasn’t the finer understanding of how things work in the country and who is afraid of losing to the ways of modern times — all the while peppering in his unprofessional personally biased commentary on particular friends and politicians in and out of his personal favor (including a personal jive showing his judgmental doubts of the athleticism over body weight of Georgia governor Brian Kemp). This overall low-class style is as it has been said to be a cult of personality that has attracted his supporters by the millions in what is now lethal Trumpism.

Here is that transcript which I had the great pains in reading through (as it is utterly disorganized and irrationally fallacious), but I have cut and pasted just his opinions of his argument (leaving off the misinformation) and the parts which I’ve bold below that we expect will continue to be analyzed by lawyers, politicians, media, and the public about his choice of words in direct incitement of Wednesday’s events:

Donald Trump: (11:25) We’re gathered together in the heart of our nation’s Capitol for one very, very basic and simple reason, to save our democracy….

…They’ve used the pandemic as a way of defrauding the people in a proper election.”…

Donald Trump: (12:34) For years. Democrats have gotten away with election fraud and weak Republicans,…

Donald Trump: (14:39) But this year using the pretext of the China virus and the scam of mail-in ballots, Democrats attempted the most brazen and outrageous election theft. There’s never been anything like this. It’s a pure theft in American history,…

Donald Trump: (15:35) …You can go all the way back. America is blessed with elections all over the world. They talk about our elections. You know what the world says about us now? They said we don’t have free and fair elections and you know what else? We don’t have a free and fair press.

Donald Trump: (16:25) Our media is not free. It’s not fair. It suppresses thought. It suppresses speech, and it’s become the enemy of the people. It’s become the enemy of the people. It’s the biggest problem we have in this country….

We’re going to have to fight much harder and Mike Pence is going to have to come through for us. If he doesn’t, that will be a sad day for our country because you’re sworn to uphold our constitution. Now it is up to Congress to confront this egregious assault on our democracy. After this, we’re going to walk down and I’ll be there with you. We’re going to walk down. We’re going to walk down any one you want, but I think right here. We’re going walk down to the Capitol, and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators, and congressmen and women. We’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them because you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength, and you have to be strong.

Donald Trump: (18:16) We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated, lawfully slated. I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard. Today we will see whether Republicans stand strong for integrity of our elections, but whether or not they stand strong for our country, our country. Our country has been under siege for a long time, far longer than this four-year period….

Donald Trump: (29:29) …We don’t have a fair media anymore. It’s suppression and you have to be very careful with that. And they’ve lost all credibility in this country….

Donald Trump: (33:41) But it shows you the media’s genius. In fact, probably, if I was the media, I’d do it the same way. I hate to say it. But we got to get them straightened out. Today, for the sake of our democracy, for the sake of our Constitution, and for the sake of our children, we lay out the case for the entire world to hear….

Donald Trump: (39:43) Mike Pence has to agree to send it back. And many people in Congress want it sent back, and take of what you’re doing. Let’s say you don’t do it. Somebody says, “Well, we have to obey the constitution.” And you are, because you’re protecting our country and you’re protecting the constitution, so you are. But think of what happens. Let’s say they’re stiffs and they’re stupid people. And they say, “Well, we really have no choice.”…

Donald Trump: (43:47) …This is a time for strength. They also want to indoctrinate your children in school by teaching them things that aren’t so. They want to indoctrinate your children. It’s all part of the comprehensive assault on our democracy and the American people to finally standing up and saying, “No.”…

Donald Trump: (54:18) …I love Georgia, but it’s a corrupt system….

Donald Trump: (01:09:10) All of these tech monopolies are going to abuse their power and interfere in our elections and it has to be stopped and the Republicans have to get a lot tougher and so should the Democrats. They should be regulated, investigated and brought to justice under the fullest extent of the law. They’re totally breaking the law. Together we will drain the Washington swamp and we will clean up the corruption in our nation’s capital….

Donald Trump: (01:10:52) …As this enormous crowd shows, we have truth and justice on our side. We have a deep and enduring love for America in our hearts. We love our country. We have overwhelming pride in this great country, and we have it deep in our souls. Together we are determined to defend and preserve government of the people, by the people and for the people.

Donald Trump: (01:11:44) …And we fight. We fight like Hell and if you don’t fight like Hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.

Donald Trump: (01:12:43) So we’re going to, we’re going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue, I love Pennsylvania Avenue, and we’re going to the Capitol and we’re going to try and give… The Democrats are hopeless. They’re never voting for anything, not even one vote. But we’re going to try and give our Republicans, the weak ones, because the strong ones don’t need any of our help, we’re going to try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country.

Donald Trump: (01:13:19) So let’s walk down Pennsylvania Avenue….

Fateful Bloodshed

Trump and his ‘politics’ have created an alternate reality for his followers to fervently offer up their lives with blood without any rational question and radically inducing this compulsion to express their disagreements in forcefully carnal terms alone (without need for rationale nor democratically legally political terms) against the entire system of governance believed to be stemming from and at present being directed pointedly at the entire electoral process, the Nov 2020 General Election results, and the judicial system despite insufficient evidence produced by the Trump administration in 60+ court cases regarding claims of fraudulent vote counts.

This poignant Reuters 20 Nov 2020 article “Why Republican voters say there’s ‘no way in hell’ Trump lost” by Brad Brooks, Nathan Layne, and Tim Reid interviewed 50 Trump supporters to highlight the grips of deeply held sentiments of some of these diehard loyaltists.

In it, says one Texan chiropractor Trump supporter,

“If President Trump comes out and says: ‘Guys, I have irrefutable proof of fraud, the courts won’t listen, and I’m now calling on Americans to take up arms,’ we would go…”

Then asked what if Trump were lying.

..“If I’m being manipulated by Trump … then he is the greatest con man that ever lived in America,”…[but] said. “I think he’s the greatest patriot that ever lived.”

Similarly, says a Texan mayor,

[There’s] “no way in hell” Biden won fairly. The only way he’ll believe it, he said, is if Trump himself says so.

06 Jan 2021 — The Plain Aftermath of the Day

But the reality from this Wednesday’s events is blood has been shed directly on both sides at the U.S. Capitol on domestic soil. Two young war veterans were killed on domestic soil in a domestic battle over the unsound claims and directed demands at the fandom of and by a sitting U.S. president.

And while two military-serving Americans were sacrificed, one will become known as a traitor while the other as a true patriotic hero:

Ultimately 5 died (another 3 were of Trump supporters from separate medical emergencies unrelated to any direct assault) and though in the aftermath so far, in excess of 52 arrests and at least 14 officers seriously injured, there was also evidence of more destructive premeditated plans: 2 pipe bombs — successfully defused — (1 each at the Democratic and Republican Party offices), a cooler of Molotov cocktails near the RNC headquarters, and a long gun were found inside a closely parked vehicle.

Treacherous Ramifications of Weakness

Wednesday’s unfortunate display of these Trump supporters ‘storming the Capitol’ on behalf of Trump’s rallying cries with words like ‘be strong’ and ‘fight like Hell’ gravely also demonstrate the multifold unselfconsciousness of those masses to the viral pandemic (they were mask-less), to their own actions which now fall under federal charges including of sedition, rebellion, and insurrection despite their professions of patriotism, and to their ignorance of American international imperatives to maintain certain global command to which this now philistine image broadcast sensationally around the globe plays handsomely into the hands of world enemies and invites dangerous challenges and attempts to undermine American power domestically and abroad.

In this chaos, alarming news requiring FBI involvement would now open up questions of whether foreign antagonistic influences may feasibly be taking advantage of these internal domestic clashes to inflict more disorder and harm onto American democracy:

№1 The FBI is apparently now seeking for information from the public, even offering a sizeable reward, that can lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible i.e. the person captured in video/photo whom they believe to be responsible for placing those pipe bombs. (It does not necessarily mean that person(s) was directly related to or involved even with the planned U.S. Capitol insurrection); and

№2 The FAA reported to FBI some strange computer-augmented voice captured on the airwaves reserved for pilot use the day before Wednesday’s coup attempt that threatened to fly a plane into the U.S. Capitol.

CBS News exclusive: Audio captured of threat to fly plane into U.S. Capitol [1:58 mins]:

Artifice in Tweets

Meanwhile, Trump’s counterintuitive communication to his followers via Twitter during the unpeaceful attacks and unremitting looting inside the Capitol on 06 Jan Wednesday becomes clearly obvious of cavalier coaxing of his foolhardy followers — a long drawn out deceitful leading of them (like a pied piper of sorts) — carelessly into a death trap of federal crimes, fraudulent bases for fundraising and their donations, of their undying personal allegiance (their veins and their votes) and a self-created cause that only destroys themselves while it boosts his ego and notoriety, and their personal advocacy for him against any criticism, legal or political.

In this article from USA TODAY (Updated 11:56 a.m. CST Jan. 9, 2021), it lays out the events by the minute and hour throughout the day of 06 Jan 2021, fortuitously timestamping the contradictory and deceitful tweets of President Trump to his followers in direct contrast to Pence’s tweets as well as to the actions already taken by the mob attacks inside the U.S. Capitol.

I’ve pasted below the time stamps of the specific moments that show the unfolding actions of the attackers and the duplicitous attempts of Trump to avoid demanding more strongly any cease and desist which instead would naturally egg on his supporters:

11 a.m.

Trump’s “Save America Rally” begins…

1 p.m.

Lawmakers gather for a joint session in the House of Representatives chamber to count Electoral College votes.

2:11 p.m.

Rioters breach police lines on the west side of the Capitol.

Moments later, rioters scale the walls.

2:22 p.m.

Reports say Vice President Mike Pence has been escorted out of the Senate chamber.

2:24 p.m.

Trump tweets, “Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!”

2:38 p.m.

Trump tweets, “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!”

2:39 p.m.

Rioters are photographed breaking Capitol windows.

2:44 p.m.

Shots are reported fired in the House chamber.

3:03 p.m.

Rioters are photographed on the Senate floor.

3:13 p.m.

Trump tweets: “I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order — respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!”

3:34 p.m.

CBS reports a woman is in critical condition after being shot in the neck inside the Capitol. Police later report the woman died. She was identified as Ashli Babbitt, 35, an Air Force veteran. Her husband was quoted as saying she was a strong supporter of Trump.

In an account to WUSA9, a purported witness explains what happened, saying they had stormed the building and she was climbing through the window. He says armed police and Secret Service repeatedly warned to get back, but “she didn’t heed the call,” and then they shot her.

About 3:40 p.m.

The violence and destruction taking place at the US Capitol Must Stop and it Must Stop Now. Anyone involved must respect Law Enforcement officers and immediately leave the building.

— Mike Pence (@Mike_Pence) January 6, 2021

Peaceful protest is the right of every American but this attack on our Capitol will not be tolerated and those involved will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

— Mike Pence (@Mike_Pence) January 6, 2021

Pence tweets to protesters: ‘Attack on our Capitol will not be tolerated’

3:51 p.m.

The District of Columbia National Guard, about 1,100 troops, is mobilized to support local law enforcement.

Then finally Trump tweets his infamous less-than-one-minute video but it re-emphasizes his love and admiration for his followers, reminding them yet again of all the unfairness and his ever solidarity with them, and then asking them to ‘go home in peace’.

4:17 p.m.

Trump says, in part: “I know your pain. I know you’re hurt. We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election and everyone knows it, especially the other side. But you have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. … So go home. We love you, you’re very special. … I know how you feel. But go home and go home in peace.”

The Hoodwinks

In a further CYA move, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany puts out a statement:

At President @realDonaldTrump’s direction, the National Guard is on the way along with other federal protective services.

We reiterate President Trump’s call against violence and to remain peaceful.

— Kayleigh McEnany (@PressSec) January 6, 2021

This is in marked contradiction to WUSA9’s report a day later in which apparent Tweets intentionally leaked to the media by DC council members from that tumultuous day reveal that their request (along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi) for National Guard troops to respond and secure the Capitol were denied by the Defense Department. They report that Ryan D. McCarthy, the Army Secretary, ‘intimated’ to D.C. Mayor Bowser that there was some delay and issue in having the formal request approved by the Secretary of Defense who gets the approval directly from the president. This would imply intentional incendiary actions that could be considered treasonous if later it were found out to be real.

Why were National Guard troops delayed in responding to Capitol riots? [1:53 mins]:

This would certainly explain how Nancy Pelosi herself has strongly urged the invocation of the 25th Amendment to impeach the president urgently and called him ‘dangerous’ in her interview with 60 Minutes airing 10 Jan 2021.

More Republicans Finally Turn On Trump After Deadly Insurrection | The 11th Hour | MSNBC [5:42 mins]:

In the interview with PBS NewsHour Judy Woodruff, Pennsylvania (D) Congresswoman Madeleine Dean had this to say to Judy’s question:

[At time marker 23:09 to 24:33]

Judy: ‘What is your fear that the president might do between now and January 20th?’

Congresswoman Dean: [23:32] ‘The president has responsibilities and relationships or failed relationships around the globe. So I worry internationally, what mischief he might cause. Certainly I worry about his pardon power. He’s irresponsibly invoked it already. This man is desperate. He knows that he is criminally liable in many other places when he walks out that door, so I don’t even want to think the nightmare scenarios of the havoc he could wreak…’

Even Trump’s spurious business character evades his supporters.

Shayna Jacobs | 16 Dec 2020 | Judge orders Trump Organization to give more records to N.Y. attorney general | The Washington Post

“Trump has been accused of inflating the value of assets to get favorable loan rates and undercutting property values for tax benefits. [Attorney General Letitia] James’s wide-ranging investigation is scrutinizing the Trump Organization’s dealings involving various properties, and whether the company lied to banks and regulators for financial gain.”

“The attorney general’s investigation is one of several legal matters stemming from the president’s business activities and personal conduct that could prove serious once he leaves the White House next month.”

“Manhattan’s district attorney is conducting a criminal investigation into Trump and the Trump Organization. The president faces defamation lawsuits brought separately by two women who have accused him of sexual assault. His niece, Mary L. Trump, is suing him and his siblings over an inheritance dispute. He’s also being sued by the former tenants of apartments his family once owned, and by people who say they saw little to no profit after joining a multilevel marketing organization touted by Trump and his children.”

The Ending for Hamelin’s Children

The children’s story you’ve heard of about the Pied Piper of Hamelin was popularized about some kind of vengeful professional fifer that handicapped the town by leading away to their death all the children of that city.

There are alternate hypotheses posed by history and historians to try to answer raised questions about what the real story behind this child’s story might be, such as:

  • a paedophile
  • a symbol of death (starvation or disease)
  • a religious crusade (related to The Children Crusades of 1212)
  • a leader of dancing mania or metaphor for mass hysteria or a virus
  • a recruiter for impoverished parents to sell him their children
  • a headhunter of mass migration

However, no alternate explanation is successful nor capable of explaining away the glaring story’s plain moral about the revengeful and the bone-chilling manipulations of some alluring shaman bringing about an outcome against the city’s most vulnerable citizens — their children — to be led to their disappearance and deaths by some mad man.
