Pied Piper Trump & His Toxic Politics
How Foolhardy Trumpism is Totally Lethal
COVID-19 Numbers Show Another Reality
Is it just irony or simply gross irresponsibility that as Wednesday’s 06 Jan 2021 violent events at the U.S. Capitol are directly incited by President Trump’s rhetoric during a same-day rally, meanwhile, it was also the most deadly COVID-19 day in the US among the entire world with 3,865 deaths?
A Panegyrical Cant
In Trump’s speech in that same-day “Save America” rally (and the continual irony wastes more lives to a pandemic than being saved), he spends over 1 hour rambling incoherently about figures and twisted facts to insist on his case of a fraudulent election (even though his case was dismissed by the courts in 63 cases) while simultaneously throwing in attacks against the media, the press, big tech, the Democrats, weak Republicans, even education — seemingly everything that American life is built on and stoking up fears for anyone who hasn’t the finer understanding of how things work in the country and who is afraid of losing to the ways of modern times — all the while peppering in his unprofessional personally biased commentary on particular friends and politicians in and out of his personal favor (including a personal jive showing his judgmental doubts of the athleticism over body weight of Georgia governor Brian Kemp). This overall low-class style is as it has been said to be a cult of personality that has attracted his supporters by the millions in what is now lethal Trumpism.
Here is that transcript which I had the great pains in reading through (as it is utterly disorganized and irrationally fallacious), but I have cut and pasted just his opinions of his argument (leaving off the misinformation) and the parts which I’ve bold below that we expect will continue to be analyzed by lawyers, politicians, media, and the public about his choice of words in direct incitement of Wednesday’s events:
…
Donald Trump: (11:25) We’re gathered together in the heart of our nation’s Capitol for one very, very basic and simple reason, to save our democracy….
…They’ve used the pandemic as a way of defrauding the people in a proper election.”…
Donald Trump: (12:34) For years. Democrats have gotten away with election fraud and weak Republicans,…
…
Donald Trump: (14:39) But this year using the pretext of the China virus and the scam of mail-in ballots, Democrats attempted the most brazen and outrageous election theft. There’s never been anything like this. It’s a pure theft in American history,…
…
Donald Trump: (15:35) …You can go all the way back. America is blessed with elections all over the world. They talk about our elections. You know what the world says about us now? They said we don’t have free and fair elections and you know what else? We don’t have a free and fair press.
Donald Trump: (16:25) Our media is not free. It’s not fair. It suppresses thought. It suppresses speech, and it’s become the enemy of the people. It’s become the enemy of the people. It’s the biggest problem we have in this country….
We’re going to have to fight much harder and Mike Pence is going to have to come through for us. If he doesn’t, that will be a sad day for our country because you’re sworn to uphold our constitution. Now it is up to Congress to confront this egregious assault on our democracy. After this, we’re going to walk down and I’ll be there with you. We’re going to walk down. We’re going to walk down any one you want, but I think right here. We’re going walk down to the Capitol, and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators, and congressmen and women. We’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them because you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength, and you have to be strong.
Donald Trump: (18:16) We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated, lawfully slated. I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard. Today we will see whether Republicans stand strong for integrity of our elections, but whether or not they stand strong for our country, our country. Our country has been under siege for a long time, far longer than this four-year period….
…
Donald Trump: (29:29) …We don’t have a fair media anymore. It’s suppression and you have to be very careful with that. And they’ve lost all credibility in this country….
…
Donald Trump: (33:41) But it shows you the media’s genius. In fact, probably, if I was the media, I’d do it the same way. I hate to say it. But we got to get them straightened out. Today, for the sake of our democracy, for the sake of our Constitution, and for the sake of our children, we lay out the case for the entire world to hear….
…
Donald Trump: (39:43) Mike Pence has to agree to send it back. And many people in Congress want it sent back, and take of what you’re doing. Let’s say you don’t do it. Somebody says, “Well, we have to obey the constitution.” And you are, because you’re protecting our country and you’re protecting the constitution, so you are. But think of what happens. Let’s say they’re stiffs and they’re stupid people. And they say, “Well, we really have no choice.”…
…
Donald Trump: (43:47) …This is a time for strength. They also want to indoctrinate your children in school by teaching them things that aren’t so. They want to indoctrinate your children. It’s all part of the comprehensive assault on our democracy and the American people to finally standing up and saying, “No.”…
…
Donald Trump: (54:18) …I love Georgia, but it’s a corrupt system….
…
Donald Trump: (01:09:10) All of these tech monopolies are going to abuse their power and interfere in our elections and it has to be stopped and the Republicans have to get a lot tougher and so should the Democrats. They should be regulated, investigated and brought to justice under the fullest extent of the law. They’re totally breaking the law. Together we will drain the Washington swamp and we will clean up the corruption in our nation’s capital….
…
Donald Trump: (01:10:52) …As this enormous crowd shows, we have truth and justice on our side. We have a deep and enduring love for America in our hearts. We love our country. We have overwhelming pride in this great country, and we have it deep in our souls. Together we are determined to defend and preserve government of the people, by the people and for the people.
Donald Trump: (01:11:44) …And we fight. We fight like Hell and if you don’t fight like Hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.
…
Donald Trump: (01:12:43) So we’re going to, we’re going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue, I love Pennsylvania Avenue, and we’re going to the Capitol and we’re going to try and give… The Democrats are hopeless. They’re never voting for anything, not even one vote. But we’re going to try and give our Republicans, the weak ones, because the strong ones don’t need any of our help, we’re going to try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country.
Donald Trump: (01:13:19) So let’s walk down Pennsylvania Avenue….
Fateful Bloodshed
Trump and his ‘politics’ have created an alternate reality for his followers to fervently offer up their lives with blood without any rational question and radically inducing this compulsion to express their disagreements in forcefully carnal terms alone (without need for rationale nor democratically legally political terms) against the entire system of governance believed to be stemming from and at present being directed pointedly at the entire electoral process, the Nov 2020 General Election results, and the judicial system despite insufficient evidence produced by the Trump administration in 60+ court cases regarding claims of fraudulent vote counts.
This poignant Reuters 20 Nov 2020 article “Why Republican voters say there’s ‘no way in hell’ Trump lost” by Brad Brooks, Nathan Layne, and Tim Reid interviewed 50 Trump supporters to highlight the grips of deeply held sentiments of some of these diehard loyaltists.
In it, says one Texan chiropractor Trump supporter,
“If President Trump comes out and says: ‘Guys, I have irrefutable proof of fraud, the courts won’t listen, and I’m now calling on Americans to take up arms,’ we would go…”
Then asked what if Trump were lying.
..“If I’m being manipulated by Trump … then he is the greatest con man that ever lived in America,”…[but] said. “I think he’s the greatest patriot that ever lived.”
Similarly, says a Texan mayor,
[There’s] “no way in hell” Biden won fairly. The only way he’ll believe it, he said, is if Trump himself says so.
06 Jan 2021 — The Plain Aftermath of the Day
But the reality from this Wednesday’s events is blood has been shed directly on both sides at the U.S. Capitol on domestic soil. Two young war veterans were killed on domestic soil in a domestic battle over the unsound claims and directed demands at the fandom of and by a sitting U.S. president.
And while two military-serving Americans were sacrificed, one will become known as a traitor while the other as a true patriotic hero:
- Ashli Babbitt, 35, of San Diego (14-year high-level security official Air Force veteran) died of her injury later in the hospital after she was shot by a plainclothes Capitol policeman. A direct eyewitness (№3 under link) said she ignored authority warnings to stop advancing, and she continued to climb through the broken glass window of the Speaker’s lobby door;
- Brian D. Sicknick (a former Air National Guardsman and Iraq war veteran), was the on duty officer and 5th death — official statement of death here- whose death is being investigated as a homicide as he died of his injuries from being hit over the head with an extinguisher while engaged in fray with Trump supporters.
Ultimately 5 died (another 3 were of Trump supporters from separate medical emergencies unrelated to any direct assault) and though in the aftermath so far, in excess of 52 arrests and at least 14 officers seriously injured, there was also evidence of more destructive premeditated plans: 2 pipe bombs — successfully defused — (1 each at the Democratic and Republican Party offices), a cooler of Molotov cocktails near the RNC headquarters, and a long gun were found inside a closely parked vehicle.
Treacherous Ramifications of Weakness
Wednesday’s unfortunate display of these Trump supporters ‘storming the Capitol’ on behalf of Trump’s rallying cries with words like ‘be strong’ and ‘fight like Hell’ gravely also demonstrate the multifold unselfconsciousness of those masses to the viral pandemic (they were mask-less), to their own actions which now fall under federal charges including of sedition, rebellion, and insurrection despite their professions of patriotism, and to their ignorance of American international imperatives to maintain certain global command to which this now philistine image broadcast sensationally around the globe plays handsomely into the hands of world enemies and invites dangerous challenges and attempts to undermine American power domestically and abroad.
In this chaos, alarming news requiring FBI involvement would now open up questions of whether foreign antagonistic influences may feasibly be taking advantage of these internal domestic clashes to inflict more disorder and harm onto American democracy:
№1 The FBI is apparently now seeking for information from the public, even offering a sizeable reward, that can lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible i.e. the person captured in video/photo whom they believe to be responsible for placing those pipe bombs. (It does not necessarily mean that person(s) was directly related to or involved even with the planned U.S. Capitol insurrection); and
№2 The FAA reported to FBI some strange computer-augmented voice captured on the airwaves reserved for pilot use the day before Wednesday’s coup attempt that threatened to fly a plane into the U.S. Capitol.
