A poem

Never had the privilege to fit into the socially approved framework. Never dared to reject the validity of the socially approved framework. Accepted ridiculous scrutiny while fulfilling expectations. Wins were always negated by the dictums of the winners.
No rules are in place for the outcasts. Sheer ignorance or indifference always comes to the rescue of the privileged. Fright under the guise of empathy is the best reaction managed by the privileged. Now it’s time for the next generation to rework the socially approved framework.
This time ridicule will be met with stern warnings not to interfere. This time the sympathetic advice will be thrown back on the faces of intruders. This time the defense team* of the outcasts will be ready for rebuttals. This time the societal norms will be fully rejected, fought over, and formally buried in the cemeteries.
