Summary

The website content discusses the creation of AI-generated images, specifically focusing on techniques for placing objects inside other objects, such as a water droplet, using the AI platform Midjourney.

Abstract

The article details the author's exploration into generating AI images with objects encapsulated within others, a technique that proved challenging initially. The breakthrough came with the use of the keyword "encapsulated," which significantly simplified the process. The author shares several examples, including butterflies, a dolphin, a baby kraken named Kenny, a jungle scene, and a Pegasus, all inside water droplets or similar containers. These images were created using V4 of the AI and were either upscaled or remastered for enhanced detail. The author expresses delight at the AI's ability to produce intricate details and encourages readers to engage with the content and suggest future topics. The article also provides exact prompts used for the image generation and concludes with calls to action for further reading and support.

Opinions

  • The author was initially challenged by the task of encapsulating objects within others in AI-generated images but found the process became quick and easy after discovering the keyword "encapsulated."
  • There is an appreciation for the AI's ability to produce high-quality, detailed images, with the author particularly impressed by the color, fine detail, and the AI's profiling accuracy in creating backgrounds.
  • The author enjoys the creative process and finds the results from the AI to be awe-inspiring, using phrases like "so much color and fine detail" and "absolutely awesome."
  • The author values community feedback and invites readers to share their thoughts and suggest topics for future exploration.
  • There is a sense of personal connection and humor in the author's writing, such as naming the baby kraken "Kenny" and referencing the enthusiasm of Jay C Wells and the Medium Illuminati.

AI Image How-To— #14

Put an object inside of something!— secrets revealed!

Butterflies and flowers inside a water droplet.

As has been my habit lately when not creating Anime art for my novels, these images were created using V4. All have been Beta Upscaled except for the jungle, which was Remastered.

I really struggled to accomplish this a while back when helping a friend for her novel. I was missing one key word which I knew — because I do it when I paint glitter and sequins into my fingernails — but had not thought of!

Once I had the key word — encapsulated — every image was so quick and easy to generate!

The image above uses colorful butterflies encapsulated inside a water droplet. True to Midjourney’s streak to amaze me, this has so much color and fine detail with the flower petals, butterfly wings, etc.

If you look closely, you’ll notice blurred flowers in the backdrop as well.

As you will see, nearly every prompt below is super simple. Better yet! 👍

A dolphin inside a water droplet.

When I was generating baby dolphin encapsulated inside a water droplet, I received varying, but beautiful results. Some showed a waterline, as the above has, others looked like a solid bubble similar to the butterflies.

There were varying colorations of the dolphin as well. Some dolphins were more blue, others gray.

I have no idea what the droplet sits on unless it’s fish eggs. LOL

Regardless, I loved the brightness, colors, and bubbly water line. (I love sunrises and sunsets which I barely get to enjoy since moving into town.)

Baby kraken — aka, Kenny — inside a water droplet.

With this prompt, I received octopus/squid like creatures of all shapes and colors. When this one generated, I thought it was adorable. All baby things are, right?

I loved Jay C Wells’s enthusiasm when I shared this with the Medium Illuminati…thus it is lovingly named Kenny. (Adorable and fearsome mascot of The Kraken Lore.)

Kenny, as those above, have been encapsulated inside a water droplet. AI, true to it’s past in profiling filled in a fitting background.

The sparkles on his legs, reflection in his eyes, and whatever is on his head — this turned out absolutely awesome.

Jungle inside a terrarium.

This image was upscaled and remastered.

As you can gather, I was having great fun with this discovery. The thought finally broke through the excitement to try things other than water droplets. LOL

As I had hoped and suspected, when creating a jungle encapsulated inside a terrarium, AI added a variety of plant life — and even birds and animals. The creatures were more visible before I remastered an image. Very awesome. (Yes, I’m still super impressed and happy!)

Before remastering, the containers were simple glass orbs — some with openings as terrariums have.

Pegasus inside globe/aquarium.

This discovery was like finding the lost city of gold after spending days attempting this in the past.

Kathy K, this little beauty is in your honor. Now you can create to your heart’s delight for your novel!

When creating the Pegasus, nearly all were as desired. One image was a horse, while another was some winged, pink blob — more like a squished flying pig!

I was aiming for a larger container with aquarium, attempting huge aquarium as well. AI must’ve thought that was way too much freedom.

I love the detail Midjourney creates in each image. I may be easily amused…every time…but this is just awe-mazing.
