Abstract

In a reflective piece titled "Philosophy of a friend," Larry Nowicki draws parallels to an old Viking's wisdom, expressing his appreciation for the full spectrum of life experiences. He cherishes joyful moments with loved ones and invites others to join him in celebration, suggesting a toast to camaraderie and the gods of their choice. Conversely, he warns that he can be equally formidable in response to hostility. Nowicki presents himself as a dual-natured individual, capable of great kindness or fierce opposition, and leaves the choice to the reader. He expresses gratitude to his audience for their time and offers them a complimentary copy of his "Awareness ebook," encouraging them to explore his work and contribute if they find value in it. The article concludes with a nod to his personal growth, his approach to keeping life simple, and a list of individuals he considers shared friends, hinting at a broader community of thinkers and writers.

As An Old Viking Said

I didn’t get this old for a reason

I’ve had good times and bad times. I enjoy celebrations, fun, and games.

Time with friends and family enjoying the simple pleasures of life is where I want to be.

If you want to join me in these fun times I’ll toast to you. You toast to me. We will toast Oden and any other god you follow. We’ll have a good time.

Or you can choose a different path and try to cause harm to me or mine.

Just know that I work hard. I play hard. And I fight hard.

I’m the most friendly, giving, helpful person you could meet or the nastiest, mean, ruthless one. So let’s be friends. Remember and Toast the good times.

Always remembered. I have been a real @sswhole. I can go back there in a heartbeat. You decide.
