My favorite line from Mr. Rogers involves always finding the helpers in life. On Medium I took his advice and I am so grateful that I did. There are six women that I call my “board of directors” on Medium.
These women did not apply for this board position. I appointed them because they are constant mentors for me.
Please check out the selections written by my board members. These women are incredible writers and phenomenal individuals.
My Director of Health and Wellness is Lanu Pitan. Please check out this great read by Lanu. She provides finanical tips as well as health and wellness articles. You will not regret reading her work. I am a super fan!
Charlotte Zobeir Ali is the Director of Community Engagement. Charlotte presents weekly awards called the Woscars that showcase the works of amazing writers. Please do yourself a solid today by checking out this awesome offering from Charlotte.
The Director of Continuous Enlightenment is a phenomenal writer with a heart of gold. It is hard to read any piece by Rebecca Stevens A. and not be totally drawn in by the depth of thought she puts into each article. I knew she was someone special after the first time I read her work. Please check out this incredible article by Rebecca.
Allison Gaines is the Director of History and Culture. When I read Allison’s work, I am able to gain wisdom and insight on a level I cannot describe! Allison’s articles are thorough, meaty, and a delight to devour. If you have not had the pleasure of reading Allison’s work, please treat yourself and read this phenomenal piece.
The Director of Mindfulness is Annelise Lords. Annelise is a virtual repository of wisdom and always leaves me feeling spiritually fed when I read her work. Please check out this selection by this incredibly talented board member.
Jeanette C. Espinoza is the Director of I Am an All-Around Boss! This woman does so much to uplift others, not just on this platform, but in the society at large. From the moment I first connected with her, I felt she was my sister from another mister. Jeanette tackles many societal ills by writing articles that are thought-provoking and they often leave me breathless. Please check out this article by Jeanette C. Espinoza.
I enjoy reading the works of several authors on this platform. Today I just wanted to show my appreciation for these women and let them know what they mean to me.
I owe them a debt that I can never repay, but I know they don’t expect me to anyway.
Thank you for reading my tribute to my board of directors!
