Today instead of worrying

I thought of something new.

What if we just decided

to paint a brand-new view?

Instead of hearing chaos,

hear the song of a city, asleep.

The gentle booming heartbeat-

simple timing we can keep.

Instead of hearing silence

and seeing empty roads

Turn your thinking inward

And watch what soon unfolds

The marvelous, magnificence!

The spectacular of sparks!

The humming of electric lines

Does more than light the dark.

Now with such advancements

and tools readily at hand,

we have the power to reveal,

a way to understand.

Fear is only one part

of getting through the haze.

The journey is just starting, and

ahead are better days.

No matter how you got here

No matter what you’ve done

Body and soul won’t separate

Until your final, setting sun.

And so…

Pick up your head, so heavy

Open your eyes, look all around

The world is still here for you.

You aren’t lost! Look what you’ve found!

You see that you are sitting

above the clear blue sky

A spectator, still human yet,

you thought you might just die.

But not today my cherished one,

today is not your end

This is the start of something else

And you just need a friend.

That is what I am now.

Not just a passing peak.

A friend to bring you back to

help you find what you still seek.

I have no ultimatum

I have no trades or deals.

I want nothing from you

but for you to truly heal.

That is not my gift to you,

that blissful, joyous mood.

That is from the collective

It appeared as you renewed.

The gift is nothing tangible

It comes from something else.

Bigger than the galaxy

yet, it fits within a cell.

Be well, my friend. Be joyous.

Be everything you want.

Be the world around you
