Why I love Hudson, the toddler!
Hudson the gardener!
Mom lets him plant & water his own flowers. What a happy mess! We hope the drowned seeds will grow!
Toddlers are a great source of enlightenment!
I have held this little feller in my arms, loved & learned from him since birth to his recent 18-month birthday. He is a delight!
He laughs a lot & forgives quickly:
By accident, I stepped on his toe- ouch! He wails briefly, I apologize, embrace him, and pour cold water on his toe & within minutes he hugs me, kisses my cheek, then moves on to play as nothing happened.
Hudson loves people, kids & animals. He shares his toys & snacks with others. He is delighted when he gets help making playdough characters, drawing, coloring, or building with Lego blocks.
So here I share a pictorial of the little guy with untold energy & zest for exploration of the nature of things!
Look at that smile of pride & confidence!
Hudson helped mom plant Zinnias. He calls them “zeezees for bees”
A jewel of a boy in the flower shop!
Flowers are arranged in bouquets for Mom’s customers. Hudson is ready to help snip stems & add beauty to the flower vase in an awkward way. But hey, that help is free!
Chow time!
Employees need a break to eat & maintain energy. Good flower shops help slobber up their favorite chicken & pasta!
After sweating in the flower shop, snacking later in the nude is allowed!
Chin-licking veggies & chicken! Yum!
Back on the job!
So, what & where to plant today? Honor flags are taking up the space!
Oh well, I can take a break!

The swing is a favorite too!
Big brother Oliver goes to school. We cannot take off the shirt & shoes today.
At the lake:
Hudson’s best Dad in the world parks at the lake, to snack, feed the ducks, & watch the water ripples.
With Mom:
Yes, there is heaven on earth with Mom & Dad. Hudson has it all.
