Permission to Complain Granted!

Solutions have become a luxury few will ever realize during their lifetime — unless society changes dramatically.

The American bourgeois insist the proletariat provide detailed solutions before they air their grievances. The affluent aristocracy wouldn’t dare give permission for us peasants to grumble and complain about our working or living conditions. The systems we live in are, by design, intended to put any naysayers through a daunting and lengthy process filled with all sorts of manufactured requirements that surely would make anyone give up before ever seeing any remedy after all. The Royal Americans simply can’t be bothered with the trifle needs of peons.

Complaining about complaining is still complaining

It used to be easy for many to say that those who share their problems or disagreement publicly should always offer solutions. Those folks have been conditioned to resent or dislike any sort of negativity cry foul whenever they hear anyone “moaning, whining, or lamenting about problems they are having with work or life in general.

Those who claim to be taking the high road of positivity suggest that negativity is purely toxic for everyone. There’s even some psychological papers written that say some people are chronic complainers as if the more you complain, the more toxic you are.

We grew up hearing that “children should be seen and not heard”, and that they should speak only when spoken to. Stemming from this early selfish adulting behavior comes the same kind of notion… that the poor should be unseen and not heard.

But they are all wrong. Complaining without offering solutions happens more frequently because problems that are blocked by artificial obstacles or unnecessary and difficult processes are increasing in frequency and complexity — by design. To keep the poor, poor. To keep the weak, weak.

Today’s problems are more complex and we have more of them

The reasons more people are complaining more and more lately is because people today have many more problems than people did decades before.

Some will erroneously suggest that when they grew up they had to walk to school uphill both ways. Or that they had to pull up their bootstraps and work a tough job to succeed in life. But they have no clue how things are much worse today.

Times have changed. What people did to overcome their problems in previous generations simply doesn’t work the same way today.

It’s no longer as simple as it used to be. Our society is a complex system of contrived social constructs that have been developed by those in power. Solutions for regular people to avoid the manufactured pitfalls of that system have evolved into fewer and fewer escape routes. Those in power have learned how to control the masses and keep us busy flailing about helplessly instead of banding together and reaching some level of consistent progress.

I say “bringing about awareness” rather than “complaining”

Anyone complaining that other people are complaining too much without offering solutions isn’t understanding that there may not be any viable solutions because society has prohibited them through a jungle of systemic obstacles and pitfalls.

If you are the type of person that reads my articles talking about problems with this country or our economy, and you feel like I’m just complaining without offering solutions, then you truly aren’t listening. You probably don’t get it at all.

The beatings will continue until morale improves

For some, especially those with limited economic means, solutions are a luxury that may take an entire lifetime to achieve, if at all. People are dying to overcome the unfortunate circumstances they find themselves in.

We don’t have the time to wait for solutions that are incrementally developed over a millennia. We simply do not have the time to wait.

You have my permission to bring about awareness as often as is necessary to ensure the problems with society are addressed rapidly. You have permission to complain until the problem is resolved.
