Peri-peri Rice
Perfect, saucy rice. Ready in 30 minutes.

If you love Nando’s, then you’ll fall in love with this dish. Even better if you want to lose some weight while enjoying meals at the same time.
Ingredients:
- Olive oil
- Pre-soaked brown rice 3 1/2 cups
- 1 Chopped red bell pepper
- 2 chicken cubes
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup Peri-peri sauce (mild)
- Sliced (1 whole) garlic
- 1/2 tsp crushed red chillies
- Salt to taste
Method:
Start by heating olive oil. Fry sliced garlic chips to a golden brown. Add crushed red chilies. Add brown rice and fry on medium heat for two minutes.
Add bell pepper, lemon juice, and sauce. Stir for two minutes. Add salt and water. Cook on low heat.
Best paired with air-fried peri-peri chicken or stir-fried veggies😋.
