To take a piece of wood, measure it, cut it, plane it, chisel it, sand it, mould it to the required shape of the creator.

To take this moulded piece of wood look over it and shape to perfection with a sense of pride and love, this piece of wood deserves no less than the best of the joiners craftsmanship. It’s a male thing.

To take a piece of wood, Measure it, cut it, plane it, chisel it, sand it, mould it To the required shape of the creator.

Whether they are cut for Mortice and Tennon, Cross lap, mitre, Bridle or the exquisite Dove Tail and Box joints to name but a few produced from years of skill in the carpenter’s hands heart and soul creating a piece of woodworkers art.

Now that love, care and attention has been shown to these two pieces of wood, they are ready to be joined in unison together, the marrying of two halves brought together for the rest of their days by their creator, bonded together with a little help from spirit wood glue to go out into the world and do the bidding of their creator.

The creator saw what they had made, and, behold, it was very good.

Amen.
