People just want more money. Are they wrong?

It depends on who you ask.

If you ask me, which you didn’t. I’d say they aren’t.

The more I try to write without a subject in mind the harder it gets.

But I still do it. Why? Because recently I had a revelation. A big one.

Unique human stories are *dying*.

What if you could tell the stories…Excuse me. There are 8 BILLION PEOPLE on earth. What if you could tell the stories of each and every one of them. A crazy idea; I know.

But you’re not here for my revelations. You’re here because you’re looking for a way to become a better writer (because that’s my main focus)

And you may think, just like myself, that the better you are at writing, the more money will come in. And now, let’s be honest.

I know this isn’t the case for everyone. But. A lot of people just want more money. And writing online is just a vehicle to get there. AM I wrong?

Are you entitled to pursue your goal?

Well, maybe a I am little wrong. Just like that little monster in Lord Of The Rings, I don’t quite recall his name. And I can’t be bothered to google it. Because that would ruin my momentum.

GOLUM! That’s his name. Right, so what was his thing? He had only one goal. And that was… to get the all-powerful ring.

He didn’t like to lead the hobbits to the mountain of fire (correct me on the name if I’m wrong), but he still did it. Why?

Well I already said it already, so let me rephrase it.

He Had Purpose.

And an ambitious desire to achieve his goal. Doing everything in his power to achieve it was the norm for him.

Now, if you ask anyone, any creator about his goal; the answer will be the same. Everyone wants to:

  • build a community,
  • be an authority figure in their niche,
  • a leader,
  • Make. Money.

Entrepreneurship is *A* way to Freedom.

But maybe it’s not for everyone. Just like it wasn’t for Golum. Maybe.

Sometimes taking the easy way out is better. Just get a 9–5 honestly. Or stay in your current one.

Be there.

Exist.

But is that the right way to live? Well, 90% of the population either works for somebody else, making their dreams come true OR works just as much as one which still leaves them no time to pursue a higher purpose.

Some people have a choice.

Others don’t.

But if you had the chance; only one, one opportunity. Would you take it?

Would you work for it?

As always, thanks for reading!
