People Are Dying
A crime that is occurring in Palestine we should highlight
In a land of sun and ancient sand People dream of peace a quiet stand.
But war clouds gather dark and wide In Palestine where hopes subside.
Families huddle fear in their eyes As conflict echoes beneath the skies.
A cry for peace a plea for grace Yet war persists in that sacred space.
Children play in streets so bare Caught in a world of deep despair.
Buildings crumble dreams decay In the shadows of a gloomy day.
Crime whispers through the restless air Leaving scars that are hard to bear.
People suffer caught in the storm Innocence lost in a life transformed.
Dying echoes in the silence profound In Palestine where sorrows abound.
Yet in the middle of the darkest night Hope flickers a dimming light.
For every heart that aches and grieves Longs for a land where peace achieves.
In simple words we yearn for peace For wars to cease and strife to release.
In the tale of pain and shadows cast May love prevail and peace come at last.
