Monday: My life is a tapestry I choose to weave.

Yards and yards of yarn came unprocessed. Years and years of organizing made them ready for the loom. Twisting and turning the folds took time. Designs after designs were reformulated.
Special care has been taken to embellish the holes and streaks in the fabric. Colours were lovingly chosen to weft weave the patterns. Expert templates were discarded, and experts were dismayed. Fabric was frayed with mighty holes and unsmooth creases.
Alliances were suggested with different materials to save the project. Additions to different fabrics turned out to be disastrous. Stretched fabric that had become diaphanous was cut out with care. Sheerness was covered by intricate details.
Weatherproofed and timeless, now it’s ready for the big reveal. It might look asymmetrical and dramatic. It might look haphazard and not up to the standard. The result is unique as a specimen of the labour of love.
