Why did Justin Bieber buy BAYC #3001?
Some speculate that because his birthday is March 01, we would never know until he comes out with a statement.
What is causing the buzz is that he paid a record-breaking $1.3 million, more than the floor price of 100 ETH or about $250,000.
The name game begins. I hope he does name it PEACHES. I love this song, which he released in 2021 and is vying for a record five Grammy awards this year.
Lyrics — Peaches Justin Bieber
I got my peaches out in Georgia (oh, yeah, shit)
I get my weed from California (that’s that shit)
I took my chick up to the North, yeah (badass bitch)
I get my light right from the source, yeah (yeah, that’s it)
And I see you (oh), the way I breathe you in (in), it’s the texture of your skin
I wanna wrap my arms around you, baby, never let you go, oh
And I say, oh, there’s nothing like your touch
It’s the way you lift me up, yeah
And I’ll be right here with you ’til the end
I got my peaches out in Georgia (oh, yeah, shit)
I get my weed from California (that’s that shit)
I took my chick up to the North, yeah (badass bitch)
I get my light right from the source, yeah (yeah, that’s it)
You ain’t sure yet, but I’m for ya
All I could want, all I can wish for
Nights alone that we miss more
And days we save as souvenirs
There’s no time, I wanna make more time
And give you my whole life
I left my girl, I’m in Mallorca
Hate to leave her, call it torture
Remember when I couldn’t hold her
Left her baggage for Rimowa
I got my peaches out in Georgia (oh, yeah, shit)
I get my weed from California (that’s that shit)
I took my chick up to the North, yeah (badass bitch)
I get my light right from the source, yeah (yeah, that’s it)
I get the feeling, so I’m sure (sure)
Hand in my hand because I’m yours
I can’t, I can’t pretend, I can’t ignore you’re right for me
Don’t think you wanna know just where I’ve been, oh
Done being distracted
The one I need is right in my arms (oh)
Your kisses taste the sweetest with mine
And I’ll be right here with you ’til end of time
I got my peaches out in Georgia (oh, yeah, shit)
I get my weed from California (that’s that shit)
I took my chick up to the North, yeah (badass bitch)
I get my light right from the source, yeah (yeah, that’s it)
I got my peaches out in Georgia (oh, yeah, shit)
I get my weed from California (that’s that shit)
I took my chick up to the North, yeah (badass bitch)
(I get my light right from the source, yeah, yeah)
I got my peaches out in Georgia (oh, yeah, shit)
I get my weed from California (that’s that shit)
I took my chick up to the North, yeah (badass bitch)
I get my light right from the source, yeah (yeah, that’s it)
I got my peaches out in Georgia (oh, yeah, shit)
I get my weed from California (that’s that shit)
I took my chick up to the North, yeah (badass bitch)
I get my light right from the source, yeah (yeah, that’s it)
If this is the first time you hear about BAYC or Bored Ape Yacht Club, it is one of the most successful NFT collections, with only 10,000 Bored Apes, those who were on early with the drop, paid about $200, and now each one can easily fetch at least $250,000.
As long as more real-life celebrities join the bandwagon, the future of BAYC is bright.
What makes it different is that it is also an exclusive social club. Only BAYC owners can take part in their private Discord server.
If you still think that NFT is nothing but hyped or expensive JPEG, then you might want to have a different opinion about it.
Even I was initially reluctant to dive in. However, now I see a lot of IRL (in real life) scenarios that NFT can play a part in creating not only in the art scene but also in many areas of our lives and society.
I would also like to share how humbling it is to sell my very first NFT art on Opensea. While it was only sold for $5.24, whoever that person is, made me believe in myself as an NFT artist.
To read all about it, I shared my experience here:
